Chapter 4 - Into the Unknown

The night went by in a jiffy, with all the kids preparing to leave the next day! Aryaan woke up at the stroke of dawn. He had the same dream again, about his parents! He was getting a sort of premonition that this trip to Svarga Nagari will be a step to know about his parent's disappearance! Because all he had left of his parents was the apartment he lived in, with all the furnitures in it, along with the inheritance kept in the vault of Illusory Secret Storage, which he could only open once he was 18 years of age. Illusory Secret Storage was a vault which only the rich ones could afford. This meant that his parents did not lack money at least. But after his parent's disappearance Purushottam was the one who took care of his education and rest of the expenses. When Aryaan once asked his mentor about how he could repay, Purushottam answered him to just concentrate on his studies. This flustered Aryaan to no extent. In his heart he secretly thought of compensating Purushottam once he completes internship.

Yesterday when Aryaan heard about this internship program planned by Purushottam, he thought that his plans to repay might have to stay on hold. He had a feeling that the favor his mentor was going to do for him and his cousins this time might even exceed what they can imagine to pay back.

Aryaan packed a small backpack of a few clothes. He put his armor at standby mode. The stand by mode of the armor was nothing but a size reduced state of the same which could be worn as a bracelet or a pendant, depending on the user's choice of option. This was the mixture of nano technology and technology from alien planet Zisfina. Zisfina was one of the alien plants which had a friendly terms with the survivors of Svarga Nagari. Aryaan also put the graduation cape in his bag by changing it's shape from the menu options into a sweatshirt. He changed his weapons into key-chain and attached them to his backpack. He then stuffed some of the dried ready to eat food into his carry on bag, and took a last look at his apartment. Then he left off with a weird mood. He could not understand the reason for the shift of his mood as such. But then he thought of not wasting any energy trying to analyse this any more.

Aryaan met with his two cousins at the place of their mentor. Nemo and Marshalla was already there and was waiting for the others to show up. Slowly Blancie and Ritziya dropped in. Potter was the last one to enter the fray. Krittika was a bit emotional since she had to leave her brother and husband and embark on this journey for a year. She never stayed away from the two for this long, since the three of them had been in the team ever since they joined the Holy Warriors of Souryalaya. Ever since the space stations were found, the forefathers of this group had formed the Holy Warriors of Souryalaya. The group included also the family of Aryaan's father, and similarly the families of the other kids being mentored by Purushottam at this moment. Although Holy Warriors of Souryalaya recruited outside members also, but the core group still consisted of the descendants of the founders.

All the three groups then headed towards the Spaceship hanger, privately maintained by the Holy Warriors. Krittika's team boarded the largest spaceship, named Himesama. This is because they were to travel the farthest, and also the journey was risky since the protection of various forces of Souryalaya was lax around the end of the system of planets where they were heading to. There were also many space cracks, and if any spaceship falls into it, there is no guarantee of survival. And even if they survive, they might end up at some remote place in the universe, where from return might be impossible.

Dasher and Purushottam looked with misty eyes, as they saw the spaceship leave the periphery of the space station Suvarnarekha and head into the unknown. The person they both loved most in this world, might not even return after this journey like their previous comrades. But given the inborn talents, if anyone of them three could survive this journey, then it had to be Krittika. Since she could detect the space shifts from the vibrations in the region from a distance of almost 0.5 light year. And that was more than enough to avoid any space cracks or incoming spaceship. And this was only the tip of the iceberg of Krittika's abilities. Also one had to consider the natural talents of the mixed breeds, Nemo and Marshalla. So Purushottam and Dasher could only wish them luck and hope for the best.

Next up was the turn for Dasher's team to leave. They set off in a smaller spaceship. This one was more equipped with faster flight abilities than endurance.

The ship that Aryaan and gang boarded was a slightly different one. This was Purushottam's personal spaceship, which he modified with his own hands. It was more a lethal weapon, than a travel vessel. No one knew what they would encounter on their way to Svarga Nagari.
