"Fancy meeting you again, Roman~"
Upon seeing the cat girl that's been playing pranks on him and Neo as of late, Roman's eyelids twitched twice.
"I'm beginning to think you're purposely showing up wherever we go. Why? Do you really like messing with Neo and I that much? What did we ever do to you?"
Myr chuckled and flicked her finger, turning Roman's get-away vehicle into a two seated go-kart, without the engine of course.
Upon noticing their vehicle getting turned into a go-kart, Neo, who was in the drivers seat, had her face darken as she knew who caused this to happen.
Getting up and briskly walking towards where Myr was busy messing with Roman, Neo landed what she thought to be a solid kick to the back of Myr's head, only to feel a sudden pain as if she kicked a heavy lump of metal.
Myr looked at Neo who was clutching her foot and stuck her tongue out.
"My body is far more durable than the toughest material in the Omniverse. If your kick hurt me, I might as well give up my title as the strongest being."
Roman, who was not one to miss the details of a conversation, had his pupils shrink rapidly as his breathing quickened.
"You said Omniverse right? Does that mean..."
Myr gave him a sly smile and interrupted him.
"It means whatever you want it to mean. Oh by the way, mind telling me about your Grimm Dungeon System? It's quite a masterpiece, though nothing compared to my own System, Systi."
Roman and Neo both started sweating bullets, and silently prepared to attempt to silence Myr, as neither of them had told anyone else of Roman's "cheat".
Seeing them tense up, Myr chuckled and snapped her fingers, bringing them to her Reincarnation Room, while donning her white dress, sandals, and white blindfold, all while having a sigil that looked exactly like her Familial Symbol floating behind her head.
Smirking at Roman, Myr asked, "So, do you recognize me now? After all, I DID persuade Ms. Cow Tits to give you and Neo a boost~"
Roman immediately sank to his knees, a look of disbelief plastered on his face.
Neo immediately drew Hush and stood slightly in front of Roman, though it should be noted that she was trembling like a leaf, with her grip on Hush looking quite shaky.
Sighing, Myr snapped her fingers again and both Roman and Neo were bathed in a blinding golden light, as both Roman and Neo felt worlds stronger than what they were before.
The golden light also helped them understand that although Myr liked causing trouble to amuse herself, she'll help and protect those that she deems worthy to her last breath.
After both of them calmed down, Roman had a far-off look in his eyes, before he uncharacteristically swore.
"Motherfucker! Just what sort of boost did you just give us?!"
Neo also had a look of wonder on her face, as Myr had granted her a system similar to Roman's, with all of the pertinent information being sent directly to her mind.
Myr chuckled and waved her hand, further enhancing their weapons as well, along with granting Neo the knowledge of every single type of Earth's martial arts styles, from ancient and lost, to recent and modern.
Myr gave them each a warm smile.
"I granted you this boost because quite frankly, I need you to cause a distraction, a BIG distraction. I gave you the ability to control a large amount of Grimm, as well as granting you both functional immortality, meaning it's impossible for you to die of natural causes, poisons, venoms, and even the vacuum of space. You can still be killed in combat though, so be careful.
There IS another reason though, and it's a big one."
Seeing that she had both of their full attention, Myr warmly smiled and dropped the bomb that would forever change the shape and direction of their actions.
"I want you two to join my Pantheon of Gods and Goddesses. If you perform well, I'll directly grant you full immortality, and a place within my Pantheon. There's only myself, my wife, and my children currently in it, though my wife is really the only other Goddess besides myself that is fully part of my Pantheon."
Pausing for a moment, Myr continued.
"This world needs saviors, and I need you both to be the dedication that said saviors need to strive to defeat, so they can grow stronger. You will arrange for Grimm to attack the following 4 people at random intervals, just enough to get them to "level up" so to speak.
Nothing too scarring, just enough to give them a kick in the ass. I'm also tasking you both with working for Cinder and Salem on the surface, while secretly reporting their movements to me.
The last thing I need you to do is actually quite simple, and that, is to become stronger. Become so strong that everyone, even the saviors, need to think twice about fighting you two, even if it's a 1 on 1 fight, as that'll be one hell of a wakeup call for the incompetent Vale Police, and a great motivation for the saviors.
Before you ask, you both know two of the saviors somewhat well. You seem to run into them both quite a bit. I'm sure you know whom I'm talking about."
Roman nodded his head, knowing full well that both Ruby and Yang were two out of the 4 saviors that Myr was talking about.
Myr snapped her fingers and teleported the three of them to one of Roman's safehouses. Once inside, Myr sat down on a couch and brought out some snacks and drinks.
Both Roman and Neo looked somewhat nervous, but more than anything, had amazement plastered on their faces, still processing what had just happened in the span of mere minutes.
When they both took a seat opposite of her, Myr warmly smiled and flicked her finger at Neo, with another burst of golden light enveloping her.
Neo, unsure of what Myr just did, instinctively asked, "What did you do to me?"
It took a moment for it to register that Neo had spoken, and even Myr was impressed by how smooth Neo's voice sounded. Firm, yet soft and fair, with a hint of aloofness.
Roman and Neo both stared at Myr with wide eyes, which caused her to chuckle, saying, "Ah, that look on people never gets old. Anyways, as you both just heard, I completely restored Neo's ability to speak. Before I head out, there's something I need to give you two, just to be safe."
Snapping her fingers, a Clockwork Mechanic appeared in a dull flash and handed Myr two cases, each having a series of complex runes covering the outer shells.
Nodding at the Clockwork Mechanic, Myr unsealed the cases and brought out the two, silver wristwatches that every one of her Hunters and her family had.
Confused, Roman and Neo looked at Myr quizzically, though still put the wristwatches on.
When a surge of information flooded their minds, they both felt a slight headache, but were even more impressed with Myr now.
It's quite simple. Myr gave them each one of her Clockwork Combat Wristwatches. With personal shield generators that would stop even the most powerful attack from the Great Grimm Drake with ease, access to all sorts of exotic weaponry that even Roman would find an insanely hard time trying to get his hands on, rations, built in deployable armor, and an emergency teleport function that was good for 10 teleportation's, on the condition that they know where the destination is and what it looks like.
Myr simply grinned and said, "I can't have either of you dying on me. I've already put my chips on the table, and when I put chips on the table, I go all in. You two have potential that even I myself respect. I expect success from both of you. Do you dare promise it?"
Roman and Neo both looked at eachother and nodded, saying in sync, "We dare to promise."
Giving them both another warm smile, Myr nodded her head once and clapped her hands twice, which made two rings, each with the ability to instantly change either Roman or Neo's clothing, and access to the entire catalogue of clothing items in Nekopara, at no charge of course.
Neo immediately picked a pair of leggings, a tank top and shrug that matched her hair, and a hairpiece that looked like a skull.
Giggling, Neo thanked Myr, who only wryly smiled when she realized that Neo was more intrigued with the wardrobe ring than the wristwatch.
Seeing Neo with a teasing smile on her face, Myr grinned, as she had a good idea what Neo was going to try and pull next.
Sure enough, while Roman was busy with his wristwatch, Neo changed into a blue tinted, translucent baby doll nightdress, complete with the underwear that barely covered anything.
Neo wasn't bothered by Myr seeing her, as in her eyes, they were both women, so it wasn't THAT strange.
Tapping Roman on the shoulder, Myr almost burst out laughing when she saw Roman have a sudden nosebleed, but even more noticeable, at least to My, was when Roman's pupils changed into slits, reminding her of a dragon.
Narrowing her eyes, Myr did an in-depth scan of Roman's physiology, and what she found confirmed her suspicions.
'50% Human blood, 50% Safi'jiiva. How in the hell...'
Unlocking her Omniscience skill for a few seconds, Myr scours the history of Roman, and what she found positively pissed her off.
'Looks like Ms. Cow Tits didn't take my warning seriously. I'll have to pay her a visit. On the bright side, this'll make Roman nearly impossible to kill as long as Salem herself doesn't attack him directly. I wonder, does Neo have a different physiology as well?'
Scouring Neo's history, Myr was doubly surprised.
'I knew it, looks like Ms. Cow Tits also altered Neo. 50% Human blood, 50% Star Dweller blood. No wonder this universe's pair of Roman and Neo seemed so much stronger. What's more impressive is how that dumb bimbo managed to make it so their different bloodlines don't fight eachother and destroy them from the inside-out.'
Seeing Myr's shit eating grin, both Roman and Neo were confused, until Myr dropped another bombshell on them.
"So, Roman. Since you were reincarnated, do you remember Monster Hunter at all by any chance?"
Roman nodded and asked back, "Of course I remember Monster Hunter, they were my favorite games before I died."
Myr snickered and patted him on the back, saying, "Well then you're in for a treat. You don't know it, but the Goddess who reincarnated you technically broke this universe's rules of reincarnation, making you 50% Human, and 50% Safi'jiiva. I'm sure you know what that is."
Neo was more than confused when she saw Roman's mouth hang open wide enough to fit an egg.
"Does that mean I get to transform? Am I really part Safi'jiiva?! This is so cool!"
Chuckling, Myr casually waved her hand.
"You can indeed transform, though it won't be available until you find a mate and do the deed with them."
Turning towards Neo, Myr also patter her on the back.
"Neo, the Goddess who reincarnated Roman once again overstepped her authority and changed you as well. You're 50% Human, 50% Star Dweller. The Star Dweller race is considered even more ancient than the Gods themselves. They were here long before Chaos erupted and created the multiverse. An isolated group of battle-hardened maniacs that crave fighting with a passion.
Their bodies are basically impervious to any form of magic, as they were technically the ones who introduced magic to this universe. The Two Brothers are actually distant descendants of the Star Dwellers. To give you an idea of how strong they are, a single word and this entire planet can be reduced to dust, and single thought from them is enough to dictate and decide the life and death of entire galaxies, though as protectors, they try not to create wonton destruction.
Just like Roman, your other bloodline will activate as soon as you find a mate and do the deed with them. Before you get testy with me, let me tell you that Ms. Cow Tits was the one who put that condition into play, not me. I could most definitely change it, however, seeing the red string of destiny connecting you two, I won't.
I better head out now. You two have fun doing the hanky panky, and make sure to let me know when I get to become a god mother~"
With that, Myr teleported herself out of the safehouse and back into Nekopara, leaving Roman and Neo both still reeling from what had just happened.
It should be noted that Neo still hadn't switched out of the baby doll nightdress, which drew Roman's attention without fail.
Noticing his almost hungry gaze, Neo slightly blushed, and with a flirtatious tone and seductive smile, Neo leaned in closer to Roman, revealing the top part of her cleavage, and quietly said, "So, are you going to be a man and take me now, or do I-"
Neo didn't even get to finish before she found her lips locked with Roman's, though she didn't mind in the slightest.
Noticing Roman's eyes, Neo blushed even more, but quickly recovered as she slowly started to unbutton Roman's shirt, while Roman slowly removed Neo's nightdress...
========
Myr, who had set up sensory magic in each of Roman's safehouses, quickly, and unintentionally, noticed that Roman and Neo were both already going at it, despite not even 2 minutes having passed since she left.
Grinning, Myr shook her head and adjusted her state of mind.
'Let's watch a livestream~'
Teleporting into the Central Command Center in the heart of Nekopara's main castle, Myr was pleasantly surprised to see Chloe, Tenshi, Nox, and Team Neko all waiting for her with grins on their faces.
Grinning herself once more, Myr strode toward the main command chair and was picked up by Chloe, who sat Myr onto her lap.
Nox did the same to Tenshi, while Team Neko all created comfy chairs to watch the drama in Myr's Attack on Titan world.
"Alright girls, looks like the rabble has arrived. Let's see what my God Slaying Army is capable of!"
=======
"May the Eternal God Empress watch over our battle. Brothers and Sisters, let us commemorate this day to our first victory for the Eternal God Empress!"
Each Venerate got in position with their respective chapters. 5 seconds later...
"FOR THE EMPRESS!"
"""FOR THE EMPRESS!!!"""
Each chapter shouted out war cries as they charged towards the invading Gods and Goddesses, each with a cold glint in their eyes, killing intent flooding the entire battlefield.
The first shots rang out from the Primaris Chapter.
*BOOM BOOM BOOM*
*RATATATATA*
*fwip... BOOOOOM*
*vrrrgh BRRRRRRRRRRRT*
Assault Bolters, chain cannons, and grenades were being shot and thrown out in a withering salvo. The part that terrified the invading Gods and Goddesses the most out of the Primaris Chapter was the Venerates Rotary Bolter Cannon, or RBC, spitting out 3,600, 60mm Anti-Divine shells per minute, each second of sustained fire capable of turning even a Tier 5 God or Goddess into bloody mist and chunks of flesh.
One God managed to fire off a magically compressed orb of wind that hit the Primaris Venerate in the face, which only served to piss the Venerate off, much to the God's dismay.
*BRRRRRRRRRRRT*
4 seconds of sustained fire instantly turned the God into bloody mist with no remains.
Not to be outdone, Myr's Deathwatch inspired Chapter quickly took aim with their heavy duty and custom-made Designated Marksmen Bolters, each shot they fired taking a God or Goddess' life.
*CRACK*
*CRACK CRACK CRACK*
God after Goddess fell from the sky, each with their heads gone and souls destroyed.
Deathwatch's Venerate charged forward and charged up his Octo-Magnified Melta Cannon.
*mmmMMFVMMMMMMMM*
The Octo-Magnified Metla Cannon shot out a beam of pure, superheated, Anti-Divine energy, instantly melting the bodies and souls of any Gods or Goddess' who were unlucky enough to be cooked by the beam.
By now, both sides, save for the Primaris and Deathwatch Chapters who were laying down a withering blanket of arms fire, were dangerously close to eachother, each side instantly drawing their CQB weapons and readying their spells and/or skills.
The Sisters of Battle were the first to charge in and meet the enemy, with the Sisters' Venerate leading the charge.
*SHING, SPLAT*
*VRRRRRMMMMMMMM*
*BANG BANG BANG*
The close-range Bolters sang a song of death, while the chains swords, wolves from the Space Wolves, the Custodian's Royal Sabers, and the Gray Knights' swords were almost instantly soaked in blood.
What would be otherwise immortal beings were now littering the ground like broken trash, blood forming small rivers, with cleaved and ripped apart bodies strewn about. Even the Vultures that saw this scene felt sick and decided to fly away.
The Gray Knight's immediately followed up their initial melee style with carefully constructed Psi-Waves that almost instantly killed off the Gods and Goddess' souls.
Suddenly, the Gray Knight Venerate shouted, "MAY THE EMPRESS WITNESS OUR GLORIOUS PURGE! [Eternal God Empress' Judgement]!
When the surrounding God Slaying Army Chapter members heard this ridiculously overpowered Anti-Divine Psi Spell being called out, they each got behind the Venerate, even going so far as to drop what they were doing to get to safety.
While the name of the Psi Spell might sound boring, its effects were anything but.
A bright flash of golden light appeared in the sky, a couple of seconds of silence followed, before...
