Chapter 61: Part-time Job

Waking up on the bed alone, Haru stretched his arms with squinted eyes, looking sleepy then he left his bed and opened the windows as he got exposed on the warm light of the sun. He felt good until he realized that he already woke up very late. He remembers the reason for such a thing to happen to him when Yunyun asked him to play chess together which he lost consecutively against her without even winning once. After that, Yunyun told him that she had fun playing with him and she will try her best to know more about him as his wife. Her smile captivated him the most and made his heart flutter.
He turned around and yawned then he changed into his casual clothes, left his room and went downstairs to see everyone.
"Good morning, Haru-sama."
He was greeted by his lovely maid Belfast which is a ship girl and she bowed to him gracefully and the small version of her which is Bel-chan did the same.
"Good morning too, Belfast and Bel-chan." Haru responded as he pats Bel-chan in the head.
"Please messing with my hair, Haru-oniisama!" Bel-chan pouted to him and covered her head with her hands.
"Sorry, I just can't helped it." Haru giggled as he walked straight to the kitchen.
The two immediately prepared him some a cup of cappuccino together with a toast bread filled with butter.
After sipping on his drink, he realized that the house seems to be very quiet so he decided to ask the other's whereabouts.
"Where did they go?"
Belfast who's been quiet on his side responded to his question.
"Yunyun-sama woke up early this morning and she told me that she's gonna visit her friend house."
"Oh, you mean--"
*BOOM!*
They suddenly heard a loud explosion from the distance which is outside the town and the shockwave was felt in their home which made Haru's cup of cappuccino spilled on the table.

After few seconds of silence while Haru and Belfast are staring each other, the two of them felt Yunyun for Yunyun as she gets exploited again by the explosion maniac friend.
"What about Shiori-chan? Is she not coming back yet?"
"She re-enrolled to her school as a girl and can only come here if she doesn't have class."
"Seems like she doesn't want to give up her school life. Shizu-nee and Fuyumi has health check up again today while Lolisa and Kurumi has something to take care off in the Neighboring World. It's just the three of us here at home."
Haru tried to remember if he have any plans at the present but he mostly done it few days ago which means he got nothing to do now.
"What should we do today... "
He thinks about taking some quest from the Adventurer's guild but there's nothing but left over jobs and Luna the counter lady told him to leave some for others. As for his class in Crimson Demon Village, it's still on vacation.
"I was supposed to introduce myself to Yunyun's father... Well, we got a lot of time. We're not really that in hurry. What about you, Belfast? Anything you want me to help you with?"
He glanced at Belfast but she shook her head to him.
"Nothing at the present, Haru-sama but if you have anything to order me, I'll be happy to comply. After all, you are my Commander." Belfast smiles.
"I have nothing to do today. I'm just asking if I can help you with something."
Haru with awkward smile trying to say things clearly but he's a little embarrassed.
"Then how about I clean up your ears for you, Haru-sama?"
Belfast suggested and Haru didn't mind it and accepted her offer.
In the couch at the living room, Belfast was sitting with Haru lying his head on her lap while she's cleaning his ears. Haru felt so comfortable and relax while he enjoys the softness of her legs then before he knew it, it was already afternoon when he woke up.
"Huh?"
He noticed that Belfast was sleeping and she was waiting for him to wake up.
Sitting up, Haru smiled, seeing her peaceful face and he remembered how she's been a big help to him at home. He decided to move closer to her and make her head leaned on his shoulder. He smiled and whispered,
"Rest well."

It was already night and they have all returned back home, silently eating their dinner together. All the girls felt something strange with Haru until he wiped his mouth with a cloth and finally spoke.
"I want to work a part-time job."
Everyone froze with his words that even Lolisa drop her spoon on the table.
His big sister trembled and spoke to him.
"Haru-kun, if you really in need of money, you should just asked us. We haven't even payed you back from our past life."
"That's right, Onii-sama. Forget about working, I can support you for the rest of our lives without you doing anything."
His little sister Lolisa followed.
Yunyun tilted her head and said.
"Speaking of money. Didn't you received a lot from our past quest rewards? You just sold your newly created magic tools on Wiz's shop and it costing around hundred of millions Eris."
*Bam!*
Haru slammed his fist on the table which surprises them and he explained.
"It not about money! I have nothing to do right now and I just want to work a part-time job!"
They looked at each other then spoke to him.
"How about working in the restaurant around here?" Yunyun suggested but Haru shook his head.
"I already tried but things became awkward. I'm already too famous around here that they thought I was just joking. Maybe, somewhere that people won't recognize me."
"If you're looking for a part-time job in another world, that would be very difficult in a modern world since you'll be needing an identification or else..."
Kurumi reminded him.
"Our country is very strict after all." Shiori has finished eating and told him.
"Hmm."
Haru was thinking where he could find to work a part-time.
"Haru-kun, I'll suggest that you should be looking in a fantasy like world like this place."
At his big sister's suggestion, he remembered something and asked his little sister Lolisa.
"Lolisa, what quest are currently posted in the Inter-dimensional Quest Board?"
"I have a picture in my phone. You could take a look."
Showing the picture on her phone, Haru read the posters on the board.

"I could choose between Fairy Tail world or Akame ga Kill world but Akame ga kill is a chaotic and dark world. This leaves the Fairy Tail world but I need two person coming with me."
Glancing to all of them, they all looked away from him. He thought that they were all busy and can't come with him, even Yunyun.
"Sorry, Haru-kun. I have to come back at the village tomorrow and explain everything about my relationship with you to my father before I can ask him to meet you."
"I guess, it can't be helped then."
Haru sighed.
