Volume 2: Chapter 1 - Part 4

Yawning while driving as we bypassed the mountains, I saw a shallow river ahead of the road and I decided that we should take a break over there given that I haven't slept the whole night. I parked the bus near the river and turned off the engine to cool it off.
I took a deep breath then I walked out of the vehicle, stretching my arms and legs. I remembered that none of us had a proper yet so I went to hunt some food. Taking off my coat and shoes, I left it on the ground then I jumped high from trees to trees while looking around for prey.
"Strange..."
There's a lot of edible fruits from the trees but I haven't found any herbivore monster. They are called animals on Earth but here in my home world, they are called monsters.
Jumping down on the ground, I noticed several claw marks on some of the trees which was a sign there's a beast lurking around and this whole place was his territory.
I walked around without hiding myself until I sensed a killing intent from the distance.
"RAAAWR!"
Hearing the loud roar, several trees are falling down when a humongous bear showed up which is five times larger than a normal human.
"Hahaha! I guess we're having 'Nabe' today!"
I felt so excited since it been a long time since I hunted monster for food and this prey is quite big.
"RAWR!"
The humongous bear rushed to me and tried to swipe me with its claw but I stopped it with my foot. I stepped through the arm and kicked the beast on the nose.
"RAAAH!"
It roared in pain with a bleeding nose.
"Let's not make you suffer anymore."
I picked up a small stick branch lying on the ground and I took off the leaves, swinging it around for testing.
"Reforge."
Imbuing my magic power on the stick branch, the humongous bear tried to attack me again and I swung it on its neck.
Blood bursted out from the cut on bear's neck then it fell down on the ground lifelessly.
The stick branch on my hand slowly crumbled to ashes until it disappeared in the wind. The trees are rustling, looking above then I took out a butcher knife from my dimensional storage and started dismantling the bear meat.

Several hours later,
After the long hassled work, I was preparing the skewed bear meat on the table when I saw the female teacher going out of the bus while rubbing her left eye while looking around when she found me.
"Umm... Akatsuki-san?"
"Good morning, Sensei."
"What are you making?"
"I'm making skewer and other dishes."
Seeing me working very fast, she looks very amaze.
"I never thought you can cook."
"I'm the one who can only cook at home after all."
"Then you're the one who preparing dishes for Yuuka-san and Shiina-san."
"Yup."
I dipped the skewers on the sauce that I prepared. As she watches me grilled it under the ember, she drooled under the sizzling sound on the meat and her stomach rumbled.
Glancing to her with squinted eyes, her face turned and she became embarrassed, covering her face with her hands.
"I'm sorry about that. It just that... I can't helped it! I haven't eat any decent since we arrived here."
"Pffffft~"
I chuckled, hearing that then I went to check on the pot where I cooked the rice under the flame. Seeing it cooked already, I scooped some rice on a small bowl then I served it in front of her.
"It's really a rice! Where did you get them?"
"I brought some with me when we came here."
"Wow! You're really convenient!"
She was overreacting on something simple.
When some of the skewer was already grilled properly, I served it to her with the sauce on the plate.
"Try it."
"Meat!"
She immediately took a bite and she looked very happy while she enjoys the taste with tears on her eyes.
"So yummy!"
"Eat slowly. I prepared enough for everyone until you get sick of it."
"I won't. It's so delicious, Akitsuki-kun."
She changed the prefix on how she called me.
"Then don't forget to eat your vegetables."
"Yes!"
Our role got reversed with her acting like a child.
"Ah! Saeko-sensei is unfair! She's eating ahead of us!"
Most of the students has already woke up and they found their teacher eating ahead of them.
"Come and eat over here! Akitsuki-kun's dishes are really delicious!"
She called them over and everyone got excited.
"Really?"
"I'm hungry."
"That looks good!"
I have to work more faster to cater everyone.
They enjoyed eating while some of them are crying. Everyone was satisfied with the taste of the skewers and I decided to bring out the next dish. I brought out a large pot and placed it under the flames, pouring some broth on it then I filled it with vegetables, mushrooms and thinly sliced bear meat. I put the other ingredients and waited it to boil while everyone was watching.
"Goodmorning, Onii-sama."
"Seir-kun..."
Yuuka and Shiina has finally woke up together with the Princess. Kaho-san and Riko still looks sleepy behind them.
"You girls wash your faces first while I prepare your meals."
"Yes!"
The five of them went to the river to wash themselves. Lilith and Lory was yawning while following behind them.
They sat on the ground together with everyone then I served the meal in front of them.
"Huh? What kind of meat is this?"
Yuuka curiously asked while she observed the food with suspicious.
"It's better if you don't found out and just enjoy eating it."
"If it's Onii-sama we're talking about, his cookings are so good but the problem lies to the ingredients."
"Don't worry. The meat is normal and fresh."
"Isn't this Titan Bear's meat? It is considered as delicacy since it takes an whole army just to hunt down one of them. If it's Seir-sama, he alone will be enough and it would be very easy." Lilith said after tasting the skewer.
"Titan Bear?"
Yuuka was staring at me.
"Well, I can't be choosy right now."
She decided to take a bite on the skewer and she liked it.
"Delicious!"
Shiina did the same and she nodded with her. The other girls liked it too including the princess.
