While walking home together, Shiina looks very anxious as she clings on my arm and moved closer. Yuuka on my other side noticed this and she also clung on my other arm. Kaho-san and Riko are staring at me from behind for being too close with the two. Lilith is watching us from the back.
"I thought Shiina-san is scared of guys but she is fine around Seir-kun." Riko said, raising her eyebrows.
"Nah, she just have social anxiety." I replied.
"Eh? Even though she's fine with me when I talked to her and introduced myself. A lot of guys wants to talk with her but she gets scared and hid behind Yuuka-tan. It looks like she's bad talking with other guys."
After Riko's explanation, I gazed at Shiina and called her.
"Hey, Shiina!"
"Huh? What is it, Seir-kun?"
Her attention went towards me.
"How about saying something interesting?"
"Eh? But I have nothing interesting to talk about. I'm just a boring girl after all and can't talk with anyone outside our home." she became timid and sad.
"I don't really think that you're boring. I know your horrible past and it can't be helped that you'll end up being like this. No matter what happens I'll always accept whom you are since we're childhood friends."
"Seir-kun..." Shiina's face flushed as she glanced down.
"Pffffft~ Hahaha! You really are Himiko-san's daughter. She doesn't like talking with the neighbors and she always stay silent with Mom and Dad doing the talking." I laughed at her.
"Wait! Mom is like that?!" Shiina was shocked.
Yuuka turned behind and spoke to Kaho-san.
"Kaho-- Mizuno-senpai. I heard about you from Mom and Dad. You are supposed to be Onii-sama's Fiancée but you haven't accepted it, right?"
"Well, since you're Seir's little sister. I'm fine with you calling me with my first name."
"Just a reminder. Onii-sama is not my real brother, he is my step-brother."
"Really? Don't you think it's kind of awkward suddenly living with guy whom unrelated to you?" Riko asked in surprised
"Not really and I'm fine with it. Mom and I are happy to have him join our family. Shiina too. She lives with us with her mother who's working as a maid." Yuuka followed.
"Seir-kun lives with two girls unrelated to him?"
Kaho-san and Riko can't believe what did they just learned.
"Kaho-san, about your engagement with Onii-sama?" Yuuka brought back the topic.
"Ah, right. I just don't like the idea being engage with him because of our parents decided to do so. Seir-kun is not a bad guy and he already helped me a lot. I am very grateful to him."
Kaho-san said that while fidgeting.
"Just asking. Do you like him?"
"What?!" She was surprised with Yuuka's question and she turned red.
"Just answer me straight."
"I don't see him that way! He's more like a little brother to me! That's right! He is my student in our Dojo."
Yuuka glanced to me to confirm something.
"She's not lying." I told her.
"Oh, really? It's definitely quite obvious."
"Hey! What do you mean by that?!" Kaho-san retorted.
"Nothing!" Yuuka let go of my arm and looked away.
Kaho-san and Riko separated from us and we finally arrived home with Himiko-san taking Fuyumi to her crib. I was in the kitchen taking out the groceries from my dimensional storage and assorting them on the table. After that, I started making dinner with my magic preparing the ingredients while I stirring the soup on the pot. I sipped on the ladle and I got right taste.
It was already dark when Mom and Dad arrived home with their car and we have a meal together as a family. Dad asked the girls about school and they responded that they are doing fine except Shiina who is shy talking with other students which made it hard for her to make new friends. Dad said that things will be fine for her after my suspension ended so I can finally attend school with them.
After our meal, Mom and Dad returned to each of their room to continue working with the reports and paperwork from their job and Himiko-san is helping Mom in her room while I was washing the dishes and cleaning up the kitchen then I prepared some tea and coffee for my parents. Himiko-san took the drinks and brought it to my parent's room.
When I finished with the cleaning, I went to the living room and sat down on the couch to rest while I'm waiting new reports from my home world in the crystal ball on the small table.
"Umm... Onii-sama?"
"Seir-kun..."
Yuuka and Shiina walked down the stairs and both of them are wearing their sleepwear with sleeveless top and shorts which has identical color with their hair. It was kind of alluring given that they have such curvaceous and voluptuous body shape.
"Mom told us to wear them. What do you think, Onii-sama?" Yuuka asked me with embarrassed tone while Shiina felt unease with how revealing her clothes.
"Looks great on both of you." I answered with a smile.
Both of them looks happy about it then they went and sat on each on my side, leaning their body to me. Yuuka was busy with her smartphone while Shiina dozed off, resting her head on my shoulder. It's just another normal day on Akitsuki residence.
Suddenly, the crystal ball on the small table lit up and Naamah showed up with her head bowing to me while she's kneeling on the floor.
"Seir-sama." Lilith appeared on my side in her normal pajamas and she bowed to me like Naamah did.
"Naamah, what's the update?"
Naamah's expression was very serious.
"I have a bad news. The Empire on Human Territory has launched an attack on the Elven Kingdom which is next on the border of my territory. They sent an overwhelming force which engulfed the entire forest. The Elven King has sent me a letter and he begged me if I can let his people take refuge in my territory while the battle is on going."
"Can you able to accommodate all of them in your territory?"
"That's the problem, Seir-sama. With the limited resources, we won't be able to feed all of them. Also, the Empire's goal is to takes the elves and sell then to slavery especially the female ones. They fetch a higher price to the nobles of the other kingdoms. There's a high chance that they will attack us too. After all, the new demon king won't care since we're opposing him."
"Will you accommodate them for the time being? We'll deal the problem later after we guaranteed their safety from the Empire. Gather the remaining Disaster Witches and I will speak to them."
"As you order, Seir-sama." Naamah bowed her head to me again.
