Volume 1: Chapter 1 - Part 2

After the incident last night, we decided to leave the village and walked back to the main road while eating crunchy insects as our meal again. Lilith who's walking on my side was showing exhaustion, breathing heavily so I decided to carry her on my back.
"Sorry, Lilith. If I just recovered quickly my magic power, we wouldn't have to walk this long--"
"What are you saying, Seir-sama? You're also tired just like me and I'm being a burden to you right now. I should be the one apologizing to you right now!"
"It's fine. We only have each other."
Suddenly, a strange white vehicle slowed down to our side and a window opened, revealing a young girl with shoulder-length dark brown hair tied in ponytail, amber eyes, and her skin has fair complexion. She seems to be very friendly when she spoke to us but I didn't understand what she said because of language barrier, making us only gaze at her with clueless reaction.
She became teary-eyed because of the awkward atmosphere then she faced to the old man sitting beside her who has black hair and brown eyes, holding some kind of wheel in front of him.
He was the one who tried to talk to us but also became futile with the same reason. After sighing, he smiled to us and just pointed his thumb behind his vehicle. Looking at the back of their vehicle, there's a carriage that contains few things and he was telling us to hop on the back with his hand sign.
Seeing Lilith's condition, I have no choice but to accept their kindness. I jumped on the back and sat down in the carriage with Lilith as the vehicle speed up while I watch every scenery we passed by.
When it started to rain, the vehicle stopped for a bit and they let us inside. The young girl seems to be very talkative and she tried to communicate with me even we don't understand each other but thanks to her, I was able to slowly grasp the language and speak few of them. Lilith was sleeping beside me with her head resting on my shoulder while the young girl moved to the back and sit on my side so she can talk to me.
"What's... your... name?... My name's... Nishimiya... Riko." she pointed to herself then she shifted the direction to me. She speaks to me word by word so I can pick up easily what she was saying.
"Nishimiya?" I pointed to her then I pointed to myself and tell her my name.
"Seir."
"Seir?"
I nodded to her when she spoke of my name. She was happy when she got my name right.
"It's... Riko... Please... call... me... Riko."
"Riko?"
She nodded to me with bright smile when I spoke her name.
"Mhm... That's right."
I was having fun talking and learning the language called Japanese from her, and I didn't notice that we've already arrived on the next town which I told them that we would stop by. The vehicle stopped which actually called a car and we went down while thanking from giving us a ride.
"Thank you very much."
Riko who was waving her hands has tears in her eyes. She's acting close to me for the short that she met us and I glad she was like that or else, it would be hard for us.
"Seir-kun!"
"Thank you for helping us, Riko. I hope fate will let us meet again and I will be gladly pay you back." I said and smiled at her. Her eyes widened in surprise with her cheek getting flushed when I responded in her language with great proficiency. I didn't really understand her reaction but that's what I thought.
"Then the next time we meet again, if you don't recognize and ignore me, I will punch you straight in the gut! Make sure you don't forget me, understand?" she became energetic again and she was punching the air.
"That's sounds hurt but I don't mind since I don't forget gratitude."
"See you again, Seir-kun! Bye-bye!" she waved her hand.
"Yeah, till we meet again." I also waved my hand and Lilith beside me copied what we're doing.
The car slowly ran then they finally left, watching them get far away until the car turned and can't be seen.
"Amazing, Seir-sama! You learned their language in such a short time. As expected from genius prince. Truly exceptional!" Lilith keep praising me.
"Well, I have a bad news for you."
"Huh? What is it, Seir-sama?"
"We're in a country called Japan and it isn't any part of human territory of our world."
"What does it mean?"
With Lilith tilting her head, I have already seen the map of the world including the territories of humanity in the continents but I haven't heard or seen the name of the country called Japan which possessed such advance artifacts. Riko told me the names of other countries outside Japan and I can't find any of it in the world map. I only have one conclusion which will make things hard for us from on.
"I think we just got transported into different world."
"Eh?" Lilith froze and she wasn't responding.
"Lilith?"
She fell down on her knees and she bowed to me on the ground.
"Because of me, we ended up like this! I'm sorry, Seir-sama! I want you to execute me immediately! A failure like me doesn't deserve to be your side!"
"Then what's gonna happen to me? Does your execution solve the problem?"
"Seir-sama." Lilith lifted up her head.
"You have to make up for it and serve me till the end.! You the only subordinate I can trust!"
"Seir-sama!" Lilith hugged me in the waist and she cried.
"Our priority right now is secure food and shelter for tonight!"
"Yes, Seir-sama! I won't let you..." Lilith suddenly collapsed and I immediately caught her before she falls.
"Lilith!"
Her face was flushed and she was sweating profusely. The heat of her body slightly higher than normal when I placed my palm on her forehead. The result was she was sick and I need to bring her quickly to a physician here. I carried Lilith in my back and walked to the next town. Thanks to Riko for teaching me Japanese, I was able to converse to the townspeople and they led me to a place which was a clinic. We may have half-demon but we are not that much different from humans. A human physician can cure her sickness.
When I entered the clinic, an assistant lady came to assist us and she led me to a ward and I lied down Lilith on the bed for her to rest. The Assistant checked her condition then she measured her weight and height. She told me that Lilith has a cold and she gave her the prescribed medication. I woke Lilith up and I helped her drink the medicine then after an hour, it was showing some result and her health condition is getting well. I gave my thanks to the Assistant my thanks before she left the ward.
Lilith was resting in the bed while I was watching over her when another person enter the ward and it was a young man with black hair and blue eyes wearing a white coat that made me think that he looks very familiar.
"Is this the new patient--"
His eyes widened when he saw me.
