"You don't look anxious," Jack said as he stared at the boy by his side.
"Why should I be anxious?" Alex asked with a smile.
Jack couldn't understand why Alex was able to remain unflustered in his current circumstance. He could even see the slight "excitement" in the boy's expression, as if all of this was a theatre play meant to amuse him.
'This kid…' Jack frowned. 'You can't really judge a book by its cover. Underneath this innocent facade is a wolf in sheep's clothing.'
"Boss, there is one person who has managed to catch up to us," one of the bounty hunters reported. "It's Roy, the Swift Foot."
Jack snorted and looked behind them. Running fifty meters behind them was a familiar figure in the underworld. The man had short green hair and eyes that were as red as rubies. They said that Roy was a half elf. His mother was an elf, while his father was a demon.
