The top three students in the rankings all received ten thousand merit points. Rank four, up to rank ten, received eight thousand points.
Alex's bracelet lit up as the merit points were deposited within his student account. The first thing he wanted to do was visit the Exchange Counter at the academy. However, almost every student in the academy had the same thought.
Just like he expected, the Exchange Counter Hall was packed to the brim with students. Seeing that there was no possibility for him to squeeze through the crowd, Alex decided to visit Geraint instead.
"What are you doing here, Alex?" Geraint asked as he polished the weapons on the weapon rack. "Aren't you supposed to be at the Exchange Counter right now?"
"Too many people," Alex replied.
"Ah, that is to be expected," Geraint said in understanding.
"Master, when will the class battles begin?" Alex asked.
