Alex was seated on top of Quinn's Gaia fox with a frown on his face. Usually, he would be so excited to ride a summoned beast, but for some reason, he was feeling restless. Even Quinn who was seated beside him noticed his discomfort.
"What's wrong, Alex?" Quinn asked.
"Something doesn't feel right," Alex replied.
"What do you mean?"
"I feel like we are being watched."
"Watched? By who?" Quinn frowned. He trusted Alex a lot and that included the younger boy's instincts.
"I don't know. But, whatever it is, it is good at hiding its presence," Alex replied.
The students who were walking in front of them overheard their discussion and became more alert. Although they didn't know if the little boy's words could be trusted, they still decided to pay extra attention to their surroundings.
