The Red Crown Basilisk roared one last time before its head slammed against the ground. Alex was panting as he stared at the lifeless eyes of the Boss Monster he just defeated. His body was trembling due to the exhaustion of fighting for a long time.
Aiden and Belle unanimously decided that Alex should participate in the battle against the dungeon boss. They acted as Alex's support, preventing the Basilisk from landing a deadly blow on the little boy.
It took Alex forty-five minutes to take down the boss monster. The Crimson Crown Basilisk was a twenty meter long snake, and the scales protecting its body were as hard as diamonds. Ordinary weapons couldn't even manage to give it a scratch.
