"Finally, I'm done," Alex said as he carefully placed the last herb inside the magic bag. He was about to head back to the village when he noticed Crab Car's odd behavior.
"What's wrong?"
"Kreee…"
"How many?"
"Kreee."
Alex's expression changed. He immediately grabbed the magic bag and Crab Car before dashing towards the exit of the forest. It was then that four kobolds jumped out of the bushes to deliver a sneak attack.
Twisting his body, and rolling to the side, Alex was able to dodge the sneak attack of the closest kobold. He then Summoned Durandal and immediately engaged them in combat. Contrary to the kobold's expectations, Alex was able to dodge and parry their combined assault.
