"That is all for today," Adrian smiled to the children. "Here, I made some cookies. All of you can get three each."
"Yay!"
"Thank you, Grandpa!"
"Grandpa, you're the best!"
Alex, also, happily helped himself to the free cookies that were being distributed by the helpers of the village chief. While he was eating, he looked at the great sword that was embedded in the ground.
The part of the sword that was jutting off the ground was at least two meters tall. The kids had often played around this hill and sometimes took turns climbing up onto the stand beside it with a chair to try to pull the sword out. Of course, Alex also tried pulling it a few times, but nothing happened.
"Grandpa, can I ask you a question?" Alex looked at the old village chief with a serious expression. "Does this sword have a name?"
Adrian's age-old eyes glittered as he sized up the red-haired boy in front of him. He then patted Alex's head in an affectionate manner.
"Of course, it has a name."
