Britney was observing Alex's affectionate gaze. She had wanted to ask him this question for a long time now, but she wasn't able to find the right opportunity. Now that Abbie was away, she decided to satisfy her curiosity.
"Excuse me, Alex." Britney waved her hand in front of the yes of the love-struck teen. "There's a question I have been meaning to ask you. What's so good about Abbie?"
Seeing the frown that appeared on Alex's face, Britney hurriedly rephrased her question. "I mean, why, out of all the girls in the world, did you have to choose Abbie of all people? Is there something special that you see in her?"
As expected, Alex's expression softened a bit after she changed her aggressive question into a moderate one.
"Before anything else, let me answer your first question first," Alex replied with a smile. "You asked me what's so good about her right?"
"Yes. I hope that it didn't come off as rude," Britney explained. "That was not my intention."
