The cold water droplets pelted Abbie's body. Her head was lowered as her two hands covered her face in its entirety.
'I was almost tempted to agree to his proposal!' Abbie wanted to bang her head against the wall out of embarrassment. 'How can you say no to that face?'
Abbie knew that her face was blushing right now. Even the cold water wasn't able to stop the burning sensation she felt in her cheeks. She could still vividly remember Alex's expression when he said the words "I'm perfectly legal. You won't get in jail if you make love with me."
"Damn, that look was pure criminal," Abbie muttered as she forcefully massaged her face using her hands. While deep in thought, she could have sworn that there were two little mini Abbie's flying over her shoulders and whispering words in her ears.
