"Master, it's morning." Alex lightly shook Abbie from her slumber. "Please wake up or you will be late for school."
"Mmm?" Abbie abruptly opened her eyes. Today was a school day and she completely forgot about it. Checking the clock on the wall, she saw that it was seven in the morning. Classes started at eight, so she still has an hour to prepare.
She slowly propped herself from the bed into a sitting position. Tilting her head from side to side, she raised her hands for a nice long stretch. Afterwards, she gave Alex a light hug and kissed his forehead.
"Thank you for waking me up, Alex."
"You're welcome, Master."
Abbie gave her roommate a glance and found that the bed beside her was empty. Alex noticed her gaze and immediately gave an explanation.
"Big Sister Diana said that she has cleaning duty today," Alex said with a smile. "That's the reason she woke up early."
