Alexei frowned as he listened to the conversation. What in the world did the child mean. In the room Calibri thought for a moment.
"What is your true age?" Calibri asked. The child thought. "I am timeless." He said eventually. Calibri exhaled.
"How am I your master?" He asked.
"Hmm. You give me face." The child said happily.
"I gave you a face?"
"Yes. This face." The child touched Calibri's face. "When did I do that?"
"Long time. Very long in Underworld." The child said, sighing. Calibri bit his inner cheek.
"When you say that I am your master, what do you mean by that? What do you expect me to do?" Calibri asked slowly.
"I follow you."
"To where?"
"Everywhere!" The child smiled widely. Calibri sighed. "Then, tell me, who does the eye you keep belong to?"
The child's smile faded. "You don't know?"
Calibri shook his head. The child started to blink rapidly. "Really don't know?"
