Chapter 36 - 32

The seven days passed very quickly for the other students at the school; cliques were formed, laughs were had, and plenty of mischief was managed.

For the eight young Verbatians in seclusion however… It wasn't as much fun. Calibri stood up from his seat on the floor, stretching his arms above his head and wincing as he felt the slight stiffness in his neck. Seven days were up, and he wondered how the others had fared. Hopefully they didn't suffer too much.

On his side, he felt fine, a little achy but he quite energized and peaceful.

The spells he'd placed on his room prevented him from hearing anything outside of the room, so he wasn't sure what Cloud had been up to, but he was glad that his roommate had respected his wishes and not tried to get into the room or coax him out of his isolation, meditation and fast.
