Haochen calmed his breathing and stared at Calibri. Calibri stared back, getting flustered. "Is something wrong?" He asked.
Haochen didn't answer him, but he looked back at Cloud. "Had a heartfelt talk, did you?" He asked. Cloud blinked. "Aha! Yeah, I was telling Calibri about mundane things that have been happening up here. Nothing too important, I'll leave that to you." Cloud said.
Haochen nodded slowly.
'That's a lie. The mundane things would be what Calibri wouldn't want to hear because he'd become attached and sad, and he's trying to leave. He wouldn't let you tell him anything like that.' Haochen thought.
"Did you have fun?" He asked, glancing at their interconnected hands.
Cloud glanced down and quickly let go of Calibri's hand. "Yes, it was fun reminiscing." Cloud smiled.
Haochen nodded.
