Chapter 3 - An Ending

Life is precious, and that's why you have to try and protect it at all costs. Picture it, a man dressed in a full suit and tie running through the front door of a bank, the fresh smell of the rain hitting the concrete rushing into his nose as he takes that step out, the forced blink of the eyelid in order to better adjust his sight to the only source of light, the rows of street lamps lined up through the walkways. But what's he running from?

Again, picture it. The confusing feeling of both heat and frost as the blood runs down his back from the recent gun wounds, the blood slowly spreading and dyeing his white shirt that's underneath his suit jacket, the darkness slowly taking his sight that was only a few seconds ago adjusting to the change of lighting, the sweet release of death embracing him for the first and last time as he sees the cops lined up only a few feet away all waiting behind cars as well as your family there with them, there were of course a few other families but those belonged to the other hostages.

For the last time, Picture it.

Your wife crying as she struggles to get through the cops in order to get to you, your kids start to cry and scream as the sound of the gunshot pierces their ears, your mother and father so shocked they can't move, so they just stand their with their mouths opened wide and stare at you as you slowly head for the ground, A specific group of armed men rushing behind you in order to reach the guy that shot you, atleast that's what you think, the sounds of gunshots, shouts and cries are some of the last things you hear before you no longer sense anything, now your surrounded by darkness, you can't hear anything, can't feel anything, your just there as all the things that made you human start to dissipate and all of this just simply because you wanted to embrace your wife, your kids, your whole family and tell them your okay, tell them that the perpetrator let you go because you paid him but no, your nothing but naive, well actually, now you're just dead and that's something you can't change no matter how hard you try.
