CHAPTER- 1
" Take the slaves to the dungeon" yelled a soldier who was taking us to the camp. I was in a carriage which was filled with all the females from my hometown. I could hear the cries of my fellow mates who were ones from the respected house holds. The cries were less than that from the beginning when this journey started. they were all yelling and cursing the commander unless he bought his whip out and swang it on the ladies and gave a warning with his ridiculous demur "you cry one more time i beat the shit out of you until you bleeding from the every single of your body". and that's how the loud cries turned into the voiceless whimpers.
" Aren't you afraid Ari? asked Laila who was my best friend. 'I am afraid. why do you think i am not?. i replied with the same tone she used. "you're too calm to be afraid. You didn't even cry hen they killed your parents in front of your eyes. I really don't understand why are you so silent." Her expression told me that she was worried. she was silently weeping for her parents as well as her fiance who was killed just few hours back. " I am a daughter of a soldier. my dad was a commander and he told me ones ' do not weep for me if i die try saving to my country and my people it will be a shame to my sacrifice' i promised him i wouldn't cry, and my mother was someone who was a proud wife as well as a pharmacist who served in military base beside my dad and I don't want to make them ashamed by crying. though my heart aches that i no longer have the people who were my everything but there is still someone for whom i want to live for!". "Are you perhaps speaking about the boy whom you saved eight years back?. i have said you so many times Ari, you need to forget about him. I know you fell in love with him tough you were just ten but that doesn't mean that you can still stupidly think that you'll be able to marry someone who came from this very land who's slaves are we now!" she whisper yelled at me. I didn't had any answer for that. I know after everything happened i can never think about that boy again. Now his people were going to be my master and the sole reason i lost my family but how can I explain the feelings I have. i know it's such a childish excuse such as love to define your reason for survival but i don't want to give up the only thing which is keeping me alive. Not until i hear it from that boy himself!.
We reached the dungeon as the carriage stopped and the commander opened the gate of it. "Welcome to your new home darlings, this is where you all will belong to. You all will be given the task to take are of your masters tomorrow. The masters will chose you by their own. Remember not to think about running because if you do you'll be hanged in the entrance of the very dungeon to make sure others gets a fine lesson. And where as for your duty all you have to do is satisfy you particular masters and fulfill their needs. If you fail to do you'll be severely punished. Are we clear now?. he asked us with his dirty smirk playing on his lips. All of us noded which made him shout his lungs out. "Use your words you dirty whores! i am asking you am I clear?" he yelled again to which we all replied with a "yes". "yes what? did you all forget to add a word there?. e challenged with his eyes which were showing the fury in it. 'Yes master" we all said that with the guilt. we were not suppose to call that to anyone as we all belonged to noble family but look at our condition now we are forced to something so shameful. he laughed his maniac laugh and pushed us all to walk forward. Though he said we shouldn't try to run but i can't give up so easily i want to search for him. May be he won't remember me much but i will not give up so easily. On the way here i studies the whole structure so i could escape but i have to be careful as i need a good plan. I just need to get out of this camp to the place where i can just blend in as a civilian. Tonight is the time!
