"...WHAT?!?! Why did i get King Crimson, I would have rather had something like The World. Oh well, I guess when life gives you lemons... Let's see how to use the abilities first..."

I tried to use Epitaph first seeing as it's the simpler one. In my mind, my view split between two images, one was my current view looking out towards the lake while the other was of a wolf with silver fur, sharp fangs and claws, and yellow eyes leaping towards me. I spun around so fast i almost fell over, but what I saw behind me shot a chill down my back. The wolf was only around 7 meters away from me, and i didn't hear it at all. 'Shi-'.

The wolf pounced towards me, I just barely had time to react. 'TIME ERASURE!!!!'. The ground around me crumbled away revealing a void filled with star like specs. In front of the wolf appeared a red image of the wolf heading in the direction it pounced as the original wolf moved in the same direction but with a small delay. I quickly dodged out of the way and stood behind the wolf after it landed.

As I set up my position the world around me reformed and the wolf stood in front of me with great confusion. I quickly rose my leg and slammed it on the back shattering any bones and crushing any organs my foot came in contact with during its path. The wolf died instantly as it's heart was one of those unfortunate organs, I was left there panting at how close I was to dying.

[Congratulations host for getting your first kill! You have killed a [Gray Wolf]! Received 25 exp!]

"Maybe it's not as bad a stand as I thought it was. Phew that was a close one...Wait a second, don't they normally hunt in packs." I turned around once again to find many eyes coming from the dark shadows of the forest.

I knew from watching the anime that King Crimson is almost unbeatable in a one on one battle but has trouble against many opponents. I needed to retreat for now, I turned toward the lake and putting all the power i could into my legs I leapt towards the lake. Even if I didn't make it all the way across I knew that it would buy me enough time to swim to the other side before they caught up.

I made it about 80% across the lake before I hit the water, which was very surprising considering that it's nearly twice the distance of a swimming pool across. I began to quickly swim the rest of the way at an astounding 6 miles per hour, I did not care, however, as my top priority was to get away as fast as possible. In a little over 4 seconds, I was pulling myself out of the water and sprinting into the forest.

I kept running for almost half an hour before stopping, I was lost again. A little over a football field away I could see the top of a cliff, I began walking in that direction in hope of getting an idea of the surrounding area.

The cliff was about 80 meters tall with many cracks and crevices to use as handles, unfortunately I am not an avid climber so I immediately began looking for some other way up the cliff. To the right I could see a medium sized cave on the side of the cliff and about 100 meters past that was where the cliff and the ground merged. I began walking up the slope made by the cliff and upon reaching the top i could see a vast forest and a series of rolling hills in the distance.

I looked up at the sun to find that it was almost noon, by now I had grown a little hungry, so I began searching for fruits that I could eat. On the way down the cliff I found a tree with apples in it, from the looks of it they where ripe enough to eat so I picked one off the tree to make sure. The apple was very juicy and quite tasty, I picked another 2 apples and sitting down had my makeshift lunch.

After eating I began to search for sticks, twigs, and leaves to use for a fire. Although I didn't know how to make one I believed that I might be able to with my strength. It took four hours to find enough dry wood for trial and error as well as to keep the fire burning. Along the way I had found 2 rabbits for dinner, I also found a stone and sharpened one edge against another rock to use as a make shift cutting knife.

Upon arriving at the cliff I set the materials aside and entered the cave to make sure that it was safe enough to spend the night in. Inside there was a sleeping bear, fortunately it hadn't woken up yet, I quickly used time erasure to get near its head and crushed it like the wolf.

After searching the cave further I found a pile of animal bones picked clean by the bear. I dragged the bear outside of the cave because it was taking too much space and began to set up the fire. I left a pile of the big twigs aside and placed the sticks and dead leaves in messy clump on the ground. I grabbed two twigs and began rubbing them as fast I could together.

It took another 3 hours to finally get the fire to light, after finally getting the fire to work I began skinning the rabbits with the rock I sharpened. An hour later I was eating the two cooked rabbits, by now the sun was setting leaving orange and red hues in the sky behind the cliff, on my side of the cliff the sky was painted in a dark blue.

As I couldn't see the sunset and keep the fire burning I decided to put the fire out and go to sleep. In the morning, I would need to find a water source nearby, but as of now it was too late to go searching as the night was many times more dangerous then the day. There was no telling what sorts of animals could be hunting in this forest.
