"Lumen. . . I remember that name."
The five-winged Angel turned, their expression blank and empty. Their eyes were dull, devoid of any signs of life. Like a hollow shell.
The Almighty One approached the five-winged Angel, "Oh, your soul is still intact. Thank goodness."
"Who are you?"
A pained expression spread across The Almighty One's face. Reaching out she embraced the five-winged Angel, "It seems you've been conscious for too long. I'm so sorry, I should've been faster."
A four-winged Angel stumbled across, "Lumen! I know I should've come back for you! Why did you have to sacrifice yourself? Why?!"
The five-winged Angel turned and looked at the approaching figure, "Who are you?"
"You. . . don't remember me? It's me! Lucion!"
"Lucion?"
The Almighty One stopped Lucion, "Her memory is long gone. It seems her soul remained conscious in the destroyed Seventh Heaven this entire time. To be left alone in nothingness for that long, even the strongest willed person would go insane."
Lucion grit his teeth, "But-!"
"Our best bet is to send her soul to the Gear of Reform."
"Please remember Lumen!"
'I. . .' -Lucidus Lumen
Travis sighed, "I understand."
Walking towards the five-winged Angel he felt questioning looks move towards his back. The Almighty One asked, "Why do you approach?"
Unsheathing Lucidus Lumen he felt several Angels raise their guard. Instead he flipped the sword within his palm and offered it to the five-winged Angel. She stared at the sword for a moment before reaching for it.
The Almighty One backed off, suddenly interested at why the five-winged Angel would make the initiative to move. As the five-winged Angel grasped the sword it began to hum. A white light descended upon the Angel. Her expression returned to one of emotion, like life flooded back into her.
She laughed, "His name was Lucion! Not Lucidus!"
Lucion dropped to his knees, "You remember?"
"Somewhat, I placed a bit of my soul into this sword back when it was forged. It seems like it held the majority of my memories."
Travis' bit his lip. He felt it now, with the Link he made with Lumen. The consciousness within the sword, it was gone. Once the five-winged Angel laid hands upon the sword Lumen was sucked out of it in an instant. Returning back to where it once was.
'So. . . this entire time she was an Angel?' -Abe
"It seems to be that way."
'. . .'
Tightening his hands into a fist he then turned. It seemed like he suffered more losses in here than he anticipated. Moving swiftly across the exit he reached out and hesitated for just a moment. Was he really just going to leave like that?
Turning he saw the happy expressions upon the Angels faces, as they slowly crowded the one they called their savior. To take this forcefully away from them, to regain his sword. . .
Shaking his head he reached for the exit. Even if he wanted more power Lumen wouldn't have approved with the idea. This sense of self sacrifice, it was more unpleasant than he remembered.
Tring~
He found himself next to the Priest, "Why did you do that?"
"It seems like I misjudged you, but stick around. See what your actions caused until the end, regardless of the outcome."
". . ."
Travis snorted, but remained still. He crossed his arms and waited, watching as the five-winged Angel—no, Lumen—conversed with her fellow Angels. Laughter spread, a cheerful atmosphere began to spread. Even The Almighty One had a smile upon her lips, one of pure happiness compared to the one of amusement she usually wore.
Yielya asked, "So, why did you hand over the sword?"
"No reason."
"You know I can see through your lies."
Travis closed his eyes, as expected the Priest was annoying to deal with, "Lumen wanted it, the sword that is."
"You speak with your swords?"
"Not every sword is capable of speaking with everyone like your Warrior's."
"He's classless, but I understand."
Travis shook his head, "I couldn't see through him with my eyes, I swore he was a Warrior with special Skills."
"Akiol isn't part of the System. Everything he used against you was his own ability."
Travis remembered Akiol's comment about not being part of the System. His expression wavered for a moment, "What does that mean?"
"You'll find that out on your own."
The Almighty One began to usher everyone back, "It is time we returned out savior to the Gear of Reform. Make way."
Lumen touched The Almighty One's shoulder, "Actually, I would rather not."
"The Gear of Reform is the process all Angel's souls must go through. I don't mind delaying your trip there, but it must occur."
"I. . . I regained more than just my memories grasping this sword. I also gained the memories of the part of me inside it. They couldn't be considered a fragment of myself any longer. But rather another person. For them to be gone. . ."
"It is okay, I am sure it was what they wanted."
"But what about him?"
Lumen looked over at Travis, which made the others follow. The Almighty One shook her head, "I will give him an excellent sword as a replacement."
"You. . . don't understand. He can't break the law of the world again."
"What?"
"He was only able to wield the two swords because they wanted to be wielded by him. You can't replace them, they are part of his being now."
". . ."
"I'm sorry Your Graciousness, I won't be going to the Gear of Reform."
Lumen slipped through the crowd and approached Travis. Extending her arms she handed the sword to him, "I am not the Lumen you know. I am more aware of this than you are I think. But, that Lumen is still a part of me. If that makes sense."
Travis tilted his head, "You don't have to worry about it. Take it with you, you're still a part of it."
Lumen shook her head, "That's not it. This sword still wishes to battle with you. I understand that. So take it, please."
Travis lifted his hand and grabbed its hilt. Lumen smiled, "Although I might not be the same person, I hope you don't mind me traveling with you too."
A bright light exploded from the sword, Travis lifted his offhand and blocked the light from harming his eyes. Through the blinding light a System Notification made its appearance.

The Almighty One watched the whole process, no one was able to read her expression. As the glow began to fade it revealed Verum Lumen with a new splendor. The pure white on its blade made every other white look tan. A beautiful gold detail on its hilt. A gear symbol was engraved at the center of the Guard. In fact if one looked closer all the gold detailing made it look like a series of gears working in tandem.
Yielya snorted, "And you tried to leave."
Travis adjusted his grip on the sword, a small smile appearing on his lips. Twirling the sword within his hand he quickly sheathed it, "It seems like I owe you."
"You better remember that."
The Almighty One interrupted, "So she chose to go with you."
Locking eyes Travis asked, "Are you going to stop it?"
". . . No, keep good care of her."
"Naturally."
Travis turned to leave, he gained far more today than he had originally planned for. Not that he was complaining. Returning to the exit he paused, "Priest-"
"My name is Yielya."
". . . Yielya, an interesting event is going to start. It would be wise to prepare."
"What kind of event?"
"I cannot say, just know it will be fully worth for you to participate."
"I'll keep it in mind."
Travis nodded and walked through the exit. He didn't need to worry about the oath under the Holy Codex to be broken since he already voiced his decision of giving the last bit of the reward to Yielya. Now he no longer needed anything from the Holy Realm. It was time to work towards his further plans.
Travis estimated that within a week the event, which was by far the strongest turn of A World's Legacy, would start. Once the majority of Players reached level 500 and broke into Second Stage, they will gain the interest of a hidden organization. A group known as The Gated Arena.
The Gated Arena held one key element that Players would swarm towards. An ancient plane which held the remnants of paths from fallen warriors. They would grant access to a trial for players. Those who passed it was granted access to this plane. Allowing the casual players to obtain a path for higher Stages!
This reward was useless to Travis, but the Trial did offer additional rewards for those who were able to clear it first try. These rewards weren't as simple as items, but rather it was Skills and Titles. The truly valuable stuff to Travis. So he planned to get as strong as possible before then. He aimed to freshen up his fighting skill with Dimitrin, for pure strength wouldn't be enough.
As he left the Holy Realm he raised a hand an accepted the reward from the event. Since he completed his goals here there was no reason to further delay the reward.
Orgin's Stash? Travis paused for a moment and inspected the key that was placed into his palm. Tapping his foot he quickly searched through his memories. After a solid five minutes he shook his head. Orgin's Stash, it was something he lacked information in!
Storing the key away he murmured, "Seems like I have more than one reason to revisit the Abyss."
