Chapter 340 - The Inevitable Arrives

Bang!

Nimin frowned as the door to his office was slammed open. A player stumbled in and immediately stammered, "I-I'm sorry! B-But there are intruders!"

'It seems the inevitable has arrived.' -Glint

"Who are they?", Nimin asked.

"It's the soldiers under Perina!"

"How many?!"

"There's a least a legion!"

Nimin's eyes widened, Perina had sent a legion to his front doorstep?! He stood up quickly, knocking over his chair in the process. Opening his palm a flash of light formed and Glint appeared. Grasping the spear he marched towards the exit, "What's the situation?"

"Thanks to the cave the Defenders and Sorcerers managed to block the entrance. But with the amount of attacks we won't be able to hold on for long!"

"What about the ones we left to keep watch?"

"They're the only reason we managed to respond!"

"Alright, good work. I'll take things from here."

Nimin grit his teeth, their best warriors were off. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that they were at their weakest. The revolution now reached an above average in their fighting ability and improved in teamwork, but it was far from complete. The revolution was still rough around the edges!

Nimin blinked and suddenly a path appeared. Gritting his teeth he murmured, "I'll rely on you this time."

Exiting the Guildhouse Nimin watched as spells and arrows bombarded the ramshackle barrier guarding the cave. Just from a visual estimate he believed it would only last thirty seconds. Without Kan'na to give proper upkeep the barrier was instead held together with a duct tape of Skills from the defenders and sorcerers. It was proof that the training wasn't for naught, but also showed just how reliant the revolution was on the much stronger individuals.

Changing his attention his eyes followed the path. It spiraled across the cave and landed on a small figured person. Nimin frowned, "Mira?"

Mira looked towards Nimin, "Yeah?"

His thoughts began to race, why Mira? All Nimin knew about Mira was that he was being personally taught by Akiol. That alone should prove his capability, but not enough to prove as an answer out of this situation.

He shook his head, the path hadn't failed him before, "Can you fight?"

"I can! But my weapon. . ."

"What's wrong with it?"

"Sensei said it was fragile and would break if I used too much force. I won't be able to use it properly in battle."

"I can get you a temporary one for now, what do you need?"

"I want a big axe!"

"You sure?"

"Yes!"

There was no time to doubt the words of Mira. Quickly looking around Nimin shouted, "Does anyone have a spare Greataxe!?"

A few players hesitated, but one approached, "It's of Incredible rarity, it should help!"

Nimin accepted the axe, "What's your name?"

"Hardy sir!"

"I'll remember that Hardy, I'll make sure you are repaid for this."

"Thank you sir!"

Nimin tossed the axe to Mira, "Take it, you and I will be providing an opening for these folks."

Mira caught the axe and inspected it, weighing in his hands he nodded, "Yes sir! What do you want me to do?"

"Follow my lead."

Nimin walked towards the player group maintaining the barrier. The barrier was on the verge of collapsing, several cracks forming across it. His eyes skimmed across the surface until he found his target. Approaching a glowing shield blocking a small part of the cave entrance he shouted, "Who's responsible for this one?!"

"I am!"

"On my signal you are to cancel the skill!"

"What?!"

"Am I understood?!"

"Y-Yes sir!"

Nimin felt grateful for the training the revolution went through. He must truly give those four a reward.

Mira followed behind Nimin, "I'm not sure what you mean by follow your lead sir!"

"When this barrier goes down we're going to push through. Our goal is to cause chaos throughout their ranks. That should provide enough of an opening for the rest of us to push through."

"Okay!"

Nimin furrowed his brow, the revolution had an army of around one-thousand. Considering that some must be logged off Nimin guessed that only around 800 are present. Including the fact that not all of them are fighting Classes, their odds are looking incredibly grim.

Thankfully he had created a group chat to converse with the missing four. He rapidly sent a message requesting assistance. He then raised a hand and formed a fist. The player understood and canceled his Skill, causing a hole to form in the ramshackle barrier.

Nimin and Mira charged forward, the foot soldiers were stunned upon seeing a small counterattack, but many raised their weapons to exchange blows.

"Let's do this, Glint!"

'Yeah!'

Nimin leapt to the sky, three rays of light that formed above his head descended to the ground. Two pierced soldiers while the third hit the ground and exploded.

With a spin, Nimin hurled Glint into a soldier. His body turned into a flash of golden light and he appeared directly next to the spear. Quickly grabbing the spear Nimin pulled it free. Several soldiers soon noticed the enemy that infiltrated their ranks and turned to respond.

Deflecting a blow with the blunt end of the spear Nimin quickly smacked the nose of the soldier. He then stabbed the spear directly in the opposite direction, piercing a soldier's throat.

'Most of these guys are merely First Star! I can only sense a handful of Second Stars Nimin!'

"Excellent! This isn't too much for us to handle!"

Kicking the soldier free of his spear he twirled it and stabbed another two soldiers. Adjusting his balance he knocked away an incoming weapon with the back end. With another quick spin he swung horizontally, creating deep wounds onto many soldiers.

Glint flashed in a golden light and suddenly two replicas of her appeared on both the left and right sides of her. These replicas were made of a pure golden light and lacked any of the finer details.

The spears of golden light shot forward and pierced through the hearts of two soldiers. Barely any First Star fighter was capable of receiving a blow from Nimin and surviving. Especially not when he intended to kill. A clear testament of the power of the weapons forged by Borus.

The soldiers were more wary of him now and kept their distance. Nimin grinned faintly and stabbed his spear into the ground.

Five giant spears made of gold appeared in the sky. Their size was comparable to a Kingdom's wall. They descended with incredible speed, wiping out dozens of soldiers in one go.

Nimin pulled out Glint from the ground and took up a stance, "You've made a grave mistake coming here! I'll make this your final resting place!"

As the soldiers panicked Nimin snuck a look towards Mira's location. The sight was enough to reassure him, leaving him with pure concentration on the battle.

Nimin's figure vibrated and he moved at an incredible speed. He made ten moves, nine of which were shown by a golden afterimage. All ten attacks were executed at once, finishing off another ten soldiers.

A voice rang out, "Nimin! I've heard a lot about you!"

'That's one of the Second Star fighters Nimin!'

Having no intention to humor idle chitchat, Nimin intended to end things at once. Lines of gold traveled across his face and onto his back, a pair of wings made of a golden light forming.

His figure flashed a golden light as he teleported. Appearing in front of the Second Star fighter his spear pierced their stomach.

The victim of the stab recoiled violently, "Argh!"

Glint vibrated and flashed, several spears of a golden light appeared around the Second Star Fighter. Nimin did not hesitate, "Those under Perina's command are not welcome here!"
