Akiol patted the bear, in dungeons loot wouldn't automatically be distributed to a player. This was to slow down higher level players from speed running a dungeon for materials. To claim materials one had to physically touch the monster they had killed. Experience would automatically be rewarded however.
Akiol didn't have to do this in his first dungeon because there wasn't any creature to touch. The shadow knights vanished after dying. Unlike the bear who would eternally sleep.
Akiol searched through the loot, it was some basic materials and a piece of equipment.
[Bear Hands]
The paws of a bear formed into a set of gloves.
Hand combat: +30 Damage
Requirements: 60 Strength
Akiol tossed these to Wrock, "Some bear hands for your bare hands."
Wrock made a face at the poor pun and examined the gloves. His eyes lit up, since he was one of the few pugilists that chose to use their fists instead of some of the weapon choices, he didn't have anything that increased his damage. This equipment would serve useful to him.
When he put the gloves on they looked like leather and fur hand guards. Akiol looked at them and couldn't help but note, "They don't match."
Wrock looked at his hands and shrugged, "I can easily punch while they are distracted by my poor fashion."
Everyone chuckled at that.
Continuing down the path the party was alert. It wouldn't be the best if they got ambushed. As they continued Jarvis commented, "For a dungeon there sure is a lack of enemies."
At that moment two bears arose from the bushes. They roared at the party and charged towards them. Yielya shouted, "You HAD to say something!"
Jarvis was sad, the one time he makes a comment the game proved him wrong.
The party had already figured out how the bears fought. Without any conversation they began to work. Akiol and Wrock started beating one while Tilia distracted another. With support from Kan'na it was only a matter of time before the first bear fell. The second one was enraged at the death of its comrade and grew in size.
"It's become angry!." Akiol commented.
The bear let out a extremely loud roar. Its eye's glowed red and its fur had a shade of black to it.
The bear's speed and strength was significantly increased. Tilia, who was barely keeping it distracted, was smacked to the side.
"Very!" Wrock added.
Akiol and Wrock immediately launched their attack on the bear. To their surprise there wasn't any increase in its defense. If anything it was a decrease, for both Akiol and Wrock were doing more damage to it than the previous one.
Wrock flipped the bear on its back and started barraging the bear with his fists. Akiol stepped back and watched, Wrock had enough might to handle this alone.
When the final punch landed the bear let out a sound of reluctance before finally remaining silent. Jarvis felt bad for the bear, it was such a cruel death.
Wrock dusted off his hands, "All done!"
Absorbing his blade Akiol nodded, "Well done!"
After looting the two bears he was disappointed at the lack of gear. Though he supposed it was weird for a bear to actually drop gear, considering it wasn't armored.
They continued down the path, eventually coming across a clearing. In the middle was a floating hallow box glowing brightly. There were several monsters of all types surrounding the box, ranging from the bears from earlier and more magical ones. Such as a wolf with its tail like a scorpion's, a gorilla with a head of an eagle, and a several carnivorous cats with wing.
"Well we know what we gotta do. Let's get to it!" Akiol shouted.
Everyone went to work, Jarvis summoned Bo and To along with Seeth. Kan'na began to form several magic circles. Tilia continued to protect Yielya but she still buffed the party. Akiol and Wrock began the assault against the horde of animals.
Kan'na had found a liking to the magic bullets and beams she creates. A small amount of mana to create them, but the damage wasn't much. So she created a multi-fire magic circle. She put four of these small magic circles together in a 2x2 shape, two were explosive and the others were piercing. In front of those circles were a speed and damage increase multiplier. When she activated the magic circles a large amount of magic bullets went flying towards monsters.
Akiol dodged a stray magic bullet and shouted, "Hey! Since you became a gunner can you at least aim properly?"
Kan'na laughed apologetically. Forming another magic circle in front of the current ones, she made it correct the bullets course.
She wouldn't keep using this technique, this was a temporary measure to conserve her limited MP. Once she had a large stockpile of MP she could create more complicated circles to do more damage.
Bo and To picked a single enemy to fight. They weren't the best in group battles, but that didn't mean they were helpless. They would kill each monster they could one by one.
Seeth was busy making pitfalls for the monsters. Ever since Jarvis used this tactic against Shot he grew fond of the idea. Immobilizing enemies through the ground collapsing was an ingenious idea to him.
Tilia didn't need to defend much, normally a defenders job was to tank a boss or enemies, but since she couldn't do that she was left as a bodyguard. As she watched her party members fight the monsters she longed for the day where she would be the one who tanked damage.
Yielya was debating on whether or not to take a nap.

Desk Guy sipped his soda, it was nearly empty so he was savoring the last few drops while watching the party fight the large amount of monsters. He had full faith they would be able to clear the monster horde, after all they fought against 500 players. However he was more excited for what was going to happen next.
The dungeon may have seemed easy, but the real challenge hadn't started yet.
