Akiol's consciousness came forth. As he tried to move he found his body lacked substance. There was no form. Slowly he came to a realization. He wasn't human at all! This body. . . was of a slime? He was in a puddle somewhere, his senses weren't entirely in place. Taking a moment to understand his predicament he silently drew in a breath. Or rather he attempted to, he had no lungs and this action never happened.
Attempting to move, to no avail, Akiol tried various other methods. Whilst attempting to gather himself quite literally, a notification appeared in his "vision".
'. . . As little as I know about slimes, I am mostly certainly not in a form of any sort. Unless you count a puddle.'
Akiol then summoned the user interface using the method Bart taught.

'Hold on now. . . Lesser Slime? I am forced into a race I did not wish for, and I get a lesser to begin with?'
Akiol felt cheated but regardless he continued. Mentally selecting the [Form] Skill.
[Form: Able to change shape of body according to user's wishes]
So Akiol pictured his avatar during the customization phase. After two seconds of his puddle-like self slushing around, he found himself just as he pictured. He then took a look around.
He was in a cave, or what seemed like one. The floor was solid and felt like stone and there was glowing crystals around the ceiling.
It was also at this point he realized he could feel the floor even though he had shoes on. It didn't take long for him to figure out why. His body was a slime, he feels everything around him and since his clothes were made of the same substance as the rest of him it only makes sense that he could feel it like the rest of his body.
After confirming his theory by touching the wall of the cave with his "shirt" he then explored the cave.
Seeing how lonely and dark it was, Akiol couldn't help but comment, "Sure is pretty quiet for a beginner village."
To this he frowned immediately. He made a joke? Akiol rarely if not never made sarcastic comments. Where did this humor appear from? He put this thought aside to confront it later, right now he needed to understand what beginner village he was placed into.
Though it wouldn't take a genius to realize what he was in was not, in fact, a beginner village. After walking what felt like an hour, but was really around ten minutes, he came across a hole in the wall.
This hole was bigger than a basket ball, but most certainly smaller than any normal humanoid creature could fit into. So Akiol pictured himself as a slime from his world. A small ball like creature with no facial features and went towards the hole. Or he would have, he could not seem to move at all. So he tried shifting his weight and, well, roll. After trying for a minute he successfully made a single barrel roll. As if to celebrate this achievement a announcement happened.
Akiol then mentally pulled up the info on the skill.
[ Roll: Spending 1 MP per second allows the user to spin themselves in any direction ]
This allowed Akiol to spin for, about 10 seconds. Or a little bit every 5 seconds. This was not efficient enough for movement. However, Akiol had no choice. Testing his new skill he found out he could travel 2 meters in one second, about the speed of a human doing a brisk walk. After using all his MP Akiol was once again unable to move. Waiting for his MP to regenerate, he then attempted other modes of transportation.
After several attempts he managed to "hop" and to reward his efforts a ring sounded.
Akiol once again mentally pulled up the description.
[ Jump: using 10 MP allowing the user to launch themselves ]
While 10 MP sounded like a lot, Akiol was interested that the description said launch, and not a lesser sounding term. Once his MP was maxed he used the skill and jumped about 3 meters high, before falling back on the ground.
It was indeed a 'launch'. Akiol also found he could adjust the jump by moving forward and up. This allowed him to travel 4 meters but was still worse than the 'Roll' skill.
After unlocking these two skills Akiol soon remembered his whole goal of moving as his ball form. The hole in the wall. Without further ado, he used jump and hopped into it.
