Having teleported them outside of the palace with a simple dimensional teleportation spell, Aldos situated them at one of the more well known restaurants, ordering as much food as Mew desired.
He ordered some fruits and vegetables for himself. He wasn't really interested in any kinds of meat or fish that one could eat.
Meanwhile, Mew had no inhibitions on ordering whatever arose his curiosity, which in this case were the many kinds of unknown dishes being discribed in the menu. There were foods like Squirrel fish, sponge cakes, spicy meat broth, chicken's feet, black pudding, maid's desert, Master menu, katsudon, pancakes and some other dishes.
The people eating were all wearing strange clothing, some weiring ritual clothing, others priest garb, then there appeared to be people of different races all together. There were beast men, dragon newts, dwarves, elves, human, you name it.
There was even a weird man in a black suit selling metal cans which read Sürstromming.
What a weird name for a can.
The man in suit did look a bit familiar, like those business men he had often seen moving about in Japan.
This one even had the suit case and everything.
How strange.
When Mew had averted his gaze for but a second, the man was gone right after, a strange pattern being left behind on the ground.
[What a strange place this world is...]
Mew muttered, as he picked up the can the business men had carried with him.
Curious as to what could be inside it, Mew could feel his paws itch.
He only needed to pull on the metal clasp.
Just a single pull and the strange thing would be revealed.
Grabbing the thin metal piece, Mew slowly began to pull.
First softly, but then a little harder and harder.
Just when he heard the first signs of the can opening.
"Don't touch things you don't know anything about, Mew-sama."
Aldos grabbed the can from Mew's paw and threw the can out of the window unto the mainstreet.
As Mew had already opened the can a little, it only needed a small push for the can to burst open.
A foul stench quickly engulved the street, making the passersby gag, some even fainting. Luckily for Mew and Aldos, the latter had thrown it relatively far out of the window, sparing them and those inside of the restaurant from the unbearable stench.
Unaware of what was happening outside, Mew was happily munching on all the other items that were on the menu. No matter how strange or weird it looked or tasted, Mew happily ate it all, not in the least bit bothered with the unique taste some of the food had.
Walking out, the two of them left the strange restaurant behind.
Not even an hour later, the place where the restaurant had previously been standing was empty. The restaurant gone.
The name of the place?
Isekai experience.
