Going along with the others towards a large desert, Mew witnessed an ancient looking colosseum. It was half burried in the sand with only a few floors accessible, but that didn't take away the feeling on awe and magnificence of this old building. Spires were standing high in the sky, different symbols carved at the top.
"This is the Arbiter's ground. A prison for the most heinous criminals."
Midna said as she walked in front of them.
"This is also the place where we have acces to the Twilight realm, my home and the place where Ganondorf was held captive before he escaped."
Midna added as they entered the building.
On a pedestal was a giant stone mirror, known as the Mirror of twilight. It was pointed at a massive slab of black stone from unknown origins.
Midna smiled at the others as she stepped up on the platform. Light sprung from the mirror as a strange light giving portal was opened. It looked a lot more different than his own, as Mew watched the symbols turn in strange patterns, going inside the stone slab and forming a tunnel.
"Well, I guess this is farewell, huh."
Midna said as she looked fondly at Zelda and Link. She glanced at Mew with a wry smile on her face.
"I guess I will even miss you, weird fur ball, no, Mew."
Mew smiled in return. He had left many friends behind in the worlds he visited, but he could always visit them again if he wanted, so this was not a true farewell.
Midna turned her attention back to Zelda and Link.
"Light and shadow can't mix, as we all know. But... Never forget there is another world bound to this one."
Link nodded while Zelda smiled back to Midna.
"Light and Shadow are two sides of the same coin... One can not exist without the other. I know now the reason why the goddesses left the mirror of twilight in this world... They left it because it was their design that we should meet. Yes... that is what I belief."
Zelda said.
Midna thought deeply on those words.
"Zelda... your words are kind, and your heart is true. If all in Hyrule are like you... Then maybe you'll do alright."
Midna walked up towards the mirror as a see through stairway appeared towards the portal.
"Thank you..."
Midna said as she looked at Link in gratitude.
"Well, the princess spoke truly. As long as that mirror is around, we could meet again..."
A tear silently flew from Midna's eyes, floating in front of her.
With a slight push it was pushed forward towards the mirror.
"Link... I... See you later..."
Midna said as her figure seemed to turn into particles of light. As soon as the tear hit the mirror, cracks started to spread. After Midna's figure vanished, the Mirror blasted apart.
'Well, that seemed fun.'
Mew thought to himself as the portal disappeared.
'An that mirror seemed so interesting as well.'
Mew continued to pout.
'Welp, nothing to do about it. Let's go as well. There should be other fun places to visit.'
Mew glanced at a heartbroken Link and Zelda.
Hovering before them, Mew opened his portal in front of the stone slab as well, though his looked a lot more simple than Midna's portal.
'Well, guess this is goodbye for me too. I'm sure we'll meet again some day. This world is pretty interesting after all.'
Mew said as Zelda nodded in understanding.
"Then we will await your return. We'll make sure our descendants will know of you and will welcom you in the future if you ever wanted to come."
Mew giggled happily, nodding vigorously as he really liked that idea. Waving at them, Mew flew into the portal to another fun or interesting place.
