Chapter 67 - Mew meets Gorons

Leaving the young prince behind, Mew moved through a small village located beneath the volcano. It appeared to be inhabited by mostly Hylians, but there were also a strange race that looked like boulders. Mew went as far as thinking they might be Golems or Gravelers if he hadn't heard the Hylians calling them Gorons.

Aldos and Zoroark had decided to go back to the garden, as they both wanted to relax a bit. Exploring was fun and all, but there were a lot of places unsuited for them to go to and Mew seemed to like going to the most uninhabital places. Returning them to the Garden, Mew cast his gaze to the interesting Gorons in front of him.

Silently coming closer, Mew tapped on their heads and diffenrent places on their bodies, curious if they were hard everywhere.

The Gorons would turn around everytime Mew tapped them, making for a funny cat and mouse game where the mouse or in this case Mew, was hidden.

Gengar seemed to enjoy it as well as he too started to play with the other Gorons.

Having looked all over those stone bodies, Mew rested on their heads, a bit disappointed he couldn't find any funny places.

Gengar didn't seem to tire as he continued to irritate the more frustrated Gorons.

Leaving Gengar to his own devises as he moved on from Goron to Hylian all over the village, Mew followed the Gorons up the volcano as the air around him became hotter.

The closer they came to the volcano, the more Goron's Mew saw. They ranged from big to tiny, as they all congregated near a big room. Standing behind a counter, a big Goron was handing out food that looked a lot like rocks.

Separating from the Goron he was tagging along with, Mew scrutinised the rock like food. Looking around, the Goron's were more focused on eating and didn't even seem to care when other creatures walked it, so Mew was glad to lift up the invisibility. Taking a few of the stacked up rocks, Mew carefully took a bite, but spewed it out as soon as it entered his mouth.

'Not tasty! Not tasty at all!'

Mew yelled out as he threw the rock away in distaste.

"Hahaha, if that is not to your liking, try this little guy! It's mighty tasty!"

One of the Goron's who had been watching handed a piece of stony meat to Mew and went back to his seat, waiting to see what Mew's reaction would be.

Feeling very confused at the scene of stone meat, Mew took one of those strange meat rocks to a corner. Mew poked at the meat rock, which felt fairly hard by still smelled like meat, Mew carefully took a bit from it.

Surprised at how easy his little teeth were sinking into the rock, cause the sound it made when he bit into it was definitely that of crunching rocks. The taste was strange but delicious. It really tasted like a piece of prime meat, yet the texture had a kind of stony grittyness to it that could get addicting.

Mew ordered a lot of rock meat, which was apparently called Rock Roast, Mew began to vigorously eat through the tower of rock roast under the appreciatively and laughing eyes of the Goron's.

"I told you it was Mighty tasty! Here have some more, little guy!"

The Goron from before said as he stacked a few more pieces of Rock roast in front of Mew, who gladly thanked the Goron and continued to eat the offered Rock roast.
