As the days passed, new Pokémon visited Mew's sleeping spot. They all were very interesting and fun to play with, as they all had their own unique character.
But having played here for a few days, Mew quickly grew bored. He want to travel, so he decided he would. The Pokémon around him wanted to dissuade him from leaving and warned him about humans. They were very scary and bad, the Pokémon said.
Mew didn't really get it, but he decided to stay away from humans anyway. If he found a fun looking one, he would still play with him though, maybe prank him a bit. Mew waved at the companions he made and decided to set out for a new place.
He flew from tree to tree, swinging with his tail around the braches, poking sleeping Pokémon awake and becoming invisible, changing into different Pokémon that interested him or he felt like changing into.
Still, he was bored.
[There was too little to do. Let's find some place that's interesting.]
Mew flew around some more, accelerating, decelerating, stopping, going up, going down. It is so fun to be able to fly. It must be so boring to be stuck on the ground.
Mew even let himself fall down from the sky and start floating again just above the ground. The look from the other Pokémon was really funny too.
[Let's do the dropping and flying more often, just to see their shocked and panicked faces again.]
Mew flew around some more, picking a few berries when he was hungry, napping when he was tired, and finally saw something different, which was interesting. That something was made of stone and metal.
He poked against it. It was hard and cold. There was also something hard but transparent. He first thought he could just fly through it, but then he hit something really hard.
Though it hurt, it was still quite funny to see something like that. Inside he could see people in white jackets. There was even a human with short grey hair with a few red, round balls in his hands.
Getting curious about them, Mew decided to go inside and look around. He made himself invisible and teleported inside, just beside the grey haired man.
The humans seemed very happy and excited as they all walked through the door.
"Welcome, children. Today you get to choose your very first Pokémon. Now then, no need to be shy. Come and meet the Pokémon." The grey haired man said.
If Mew knew his name, he would gladly call him with that. He seemed very nice and kind. All kinds of little humans walked inside. They were nervous and anxious, yet also excited and happy. What a strange mixture of emotions.
[I think he called them children. Then are all their names the same, just like with Pokémon? Then I need to remember them all by the name 'children' I guess.]
Mew hovered above them, as the children all smiled and seemed incredibly thrilled. Mew tilted his head again while spinning sideways. He wondered, why were they so excited?
