The air turned stiff engulfing with complications as the mother and daughter pondered in numerous thoughts of negativities. Holding the envelope, Sia shivered in fear when their ruthlessness reminded her sanity.
Meanwhile, Jack walked out of the room and spotted the two persons in a daze state. Putting down the tray over the dinning table, he inquired raising up his brows in confusion,
" What happened here? You two seem like in dillemma."
Sia quickly snapped out from her thoughts and looked at his way helplessly. Still feeling regretful that she had offended someone from LM, she replied oddly,
" We have received an invitation from LM. They want the entire town to join in the upcoming ball."
Jack was surprised feeling suspicious and walked over to her side. Snatching the envelope from her grip, he re-read the invitation letter deeply to ensure that this wasn't any kind of trap.
