Both of them went silence until Sammer took the initiative to tell his thoughts. He endured her muttering words before asking cautiously,
" Why did you go there? Don't talk halfway. I need to know the whole truth before mother becomes more furious over you. You know very well that I can't stop her if she insists on punishing you."
Over the bed, the girl had kept hanging down her head because of guilt that was surfacing through her mind. Her curly hairs seemed more messy resembling her indecent ways of sleeping postures. She was feeling more guilty rather than feared. In her entire life, she never lied to her brother nor did she intended to say ever. But because of Eric's safety, she couldn't open up her lips and felt stuck between two beloved persons of her life.
She knew that the more she stayed silent, the more it would make Sammer suspicious. At the end, she decided to explain herself in another way.
