"Spiders." They said, smiling at me though it is very forced. Once we shook hands, they went back to talking with two other boys that looked exactly alike as well.
"Charming," I said, looking at them then at Jude who was trying hard not to smile.
"Now, this is the son of the Farrington family, Jaden Farrington." He introduced me to a boy whose black and white hair is covering his face, only a little space from him to look at me.
He had the prettiest brown eyes though, almost chocolate.
"I am-"
"Meraki Sagepice." he said, "I know. We all know."
"His family's spirit are bats."
"Bats? What are-"
"We would fly to the skies occasionally, Meraki," he said, taking my hands in his. "Will you still be able to do that now?"
"I will have to see," I said, quickly pulling my hand from his grasp.
"After school," he said, looking up at me then quickly looking down again.
