"Hello." Jude popped his head into the car like a grinning sun. His hair was so reflective that I almost felt like I am being blinded once his face came to view.
"Hello," I said back, nodding at him.
"Are you ready for school?" he asked, entering the car as Leo opened it for him, secretly rolling his eyes.
"I guess I am," I said, scooting over so that there was space for him to sit in.
"I am glad that you came early. I will need to take you to the principal's office." He said nodding to Leo as he got back in the car. "Good morning."
"Good morning," Leo said, tipping his hat at him then looked at me. "Miss. Are you ready?"
"Su-"
"Hello." A woman's head came into view suddenly, almost making Leo jump.
"Hello, Mrs Hampton." I greeted her as she smiled at the two of us.
"A wonderful morning isn't it?" She asked as we looked around to see the sun's rays seeming to smile down on us.
Or is that just Jude? I can't tell anymore.
