"Aurora. Thank you for making it this soon." The woman said pleasantly, not a hint of sarcasm in her voice.
"I apologise for being late, Milenka." Aurora said, not feeling apologetic, "I had to show a new recruit around."
"You aren't late, Aurora." She said calmly. "Your soon-to-be partner hasn't arrived yet so you are early, by default."
"Really? I should have come later then." Arora grumbled. "I have to run all the way here to try and make it on time."
"Did you really run?" She teased, resting her hand on the trunk of the tree.
"I walked really fast. I think that can count as running." She mumbled. "I have a question, Milenka."
"Go ahead." She sat on the stone seat, patting the place next to her. "Come sit and ask."
Aurora sat stiffly beside her, "Well … I want to ask, what kind of person is my new partner?"
"Taking a strange interest in them now?" She asked, playing with Aurora's hair.
