After seeing all of the sellers at the market they started surrounding me and offering me their fruit and veggies, and some food they were selling.
"Sir, buy here please" "Sir, these are the finest fruits in the whole market I promise you",
"Please, I got a family to feed"!
I didn't buy into any of these till I saw a little boy sitting on a stool playing with his marbles with a small sign, The sign read "Buy 5 pears for 2$", seeing how I saw the sign using dollar signs I knew I was in the U.S. "Hey are you selling this kid?", I said in a calm tone,
"Oh yeah sorry, how many pears would you like?", he said this in a surprised tone, I assume being a little kid in a corner of a farmers market meant he didn't get sales often, he wasn't even begging for people to buy or using his innocence, he just sat there hoping for people to buy, or gave up trying.
"Can I get 5 pears please?"
"Oh yes of course, give 2 for 5 please!" I handed him a twenty because I didn't have any change,
"Um Mr. I don't have change",
"Don't worry about it, keep it, I don't have much use for it anyways." His face glowed with a grin, "THANK YOU!" I've never made this much money in one day, this will make mama and papa happy, you really mean it?",
"Yeah, of course, you look like you need it, I've got to go north now". I walked away and took a pear out of the bag and took a munch, even though growing up spoiled, I was taught to be humble, and when it came to fruits, we wouldn't normally have pears lying around, but when they did they weren't high quality, just normal grocery store pears, so the kid's pears weren't too bad for this time period.
"Looking back at it, maybe I should have spent more money and taken all the pears off him so he doesn't have a bunch of rotten pears."
Out of nowhere suddenly a beep appeared on my radar, it was pocket sized so I popped it up and looked, and there it was, 2 purple dots, about 2 miles deeper in the city, one was a mile away, the closer dot was off the city by a bit, so it would be least harmful, so I decided to get the one deep in the city, since it would have most likely been causing trouble already.
"Oh no, not again, why couldn't this just be a fetch quest type of task, I hate these things."
I began to run as fast as I could towards the location, snatching an unattended bike to get there faster, "HEY BRING THAT BACK HERE, THAT'S STEALING!", the owner of the bike said furiously, "HEY MAN I'M TRYING TO SAVE A LIFE HERE I'LL BRING IT BACK I PROMISE!".
Meanwhile 15 minutes back….. "Hey big bro, bro? BRO!", Suki screamed at Ken "wat do you waaaant…" Ken replied half asleep, "Shenn left the shed and said he is off on an errand he said to leave this place.", Suki said feeling smart for explaining what Shenn had told her. "That's great.... Good job." Ken was still asleep, (he's a heavy sleeper and wakes up at 12 usually meanwhile it's 8).
"Ugh whatever, I'm gonna go look for him….. OK???" Suki was annoyed that Ken wouldn't wake up, "Okay, okay go have fun." Ken replied reluctantly to what he said okay too.
Suki ran down the stairs to her other brother's room, Kyle's room, "Kyle I'm gonna go to the city again I'm gonna take Ken's bike!", "Okay well, don't get into any trouble again, and don't go for too long or too deep!" Kyle said slightly tired, "I won't!", Suki replied.
She rushed off on Ken's bike, going into the city which was nearby. "Ahhhhh-haaaaaa", yawned Ken, while getting up from bed, "What did Suki tell me?" After a pause for about three seconds rubbing his eyes, Ken's heart dropped, "WAIT DID I HEAR WHAT I THOUGHT I HEARD?!" He got out of his room and ran to Suki's room, empty with the door wide open.
Ken ran out and went to Kyle's room, he rushed in as if his life depended on it.
"KYLE BRO, BRO, BRO, BRO!" he screamed into Kyle's half-asleep face,
"WHAT, Jesus Christ Ken stop it, what is it?", a startled Kyle replied,
"Where did suki go?",
"Oh right, didn't she tell you? I mean she told me so she should have told you",
"Just tell me what she said Kyle, she told me something but I have no clue what she told me I wasn't fully awake."
*MEANWHILE*
"Mmmhmmm", Suki hummed to herself riding through the farmers market into the main city parts, "I should ask someone for help, but these people are scary!",
"HEY KID WANT TO BUY SOME FRUITS?!",
"NO, SHE SHOULD BUY SOME VEGETABLES!", the random farmer bugged Suki,
"I DON'T WANT ANY OF YOUR STUFF!!", she screamed as she sped off on her bike. Down the street she saw a little boy around her age alone running on the street
"Hey kid, are you lost?",
"Nope I just got paid, would you like to buy some pears?", the child replied
"No thank you, I didn't bring any money, have you seen a guy with black hair with his eyes covered by his hair wearing a big jacket with white stripes?",
"OH YEAH! That's the guy that bought pears off me!", the kid said excitedly,
"OH REALLY? Did you see where he went?", Suki said.
"Yeah, he went over that way, said north", said the boy.
"Thank you so much kid, buh bye!" Suki said where she zoomed off full speed.
"Hmm", Shenn said to myself, "the dot said it's right here in the middle of the street, but next to this and kind of into this building".
Shenn checked his radar with his bike, and stopped, looking for the dot, but nothing out of the normal, it was strange, "Maybe if I ride and circle around the block maybe I'll see something"
I continued to check around for 5 minutes until I spotted something, I saw it, a cut off and closed down subway tunnel heading straight to the dot location under my feet, "Bingo, right down there is the money spot".
Shenn continued down the subway stairs after tearing off the wooden boards blocking it. "Hmm, I wonder where he went?"
Suki continued riding her bike in the city, looking for Shenn, "wait a second, IS THAT HIM??"Suki spotted Shenn down the street entering the subway station, "Hm why is he breaking into that place it's been closed for ages''. Suki continued and followed Shenn into the subway station.
"It's dark in here" Shenn told himself, then suddenly, *Flick* a flicker went on and the lights turned on, "AHHHhhh… oh it's just the lights" Shenn yelled. Shenn continued into the subway station looking around cautiously, "I wish this radar could have been pinpoint accurate, I can only see the area its in" then suddenly a purple dot appeared on the tracker, then ruffling and banging from that same location.
"what is it this time" Shenn said as he approached the edge of the subway floor next tot the tracks slowly while being slightly frightened, he looked over the edge, it was a small humanoid with a body of a 8 year old child with longer more developed limbs and it had purple glowy skin almost like its organs were lighting up, "Uh that's so nasty" Shenn thought to himself, but then he noticed something.
That thing had claws and talons, and sharp teeth as it was trying to open a suitcase, Immediately Shenn dropped his disgusted tone and switched on, he immediately pulled out a bowie knife he had in his jacket and slashed at the humanoid monster...
