Chapter 1 - The kingdom of Dasharatha [1/3]

Emperor Dasharatha as a wise man, as the sages' favourite, and as the brightest person, he became one who could conquer Indra himself by ceremonially performing prosper bringing secrets hidden in the meaning of the Vedas, records which would bring great progress and yagnas.

He became righteous and was one of the most well-known of the kings from the Ikshvaku lineage. He became well known in the three realms (of heaven, of mortals, and of the underworld) as a chronicler on par with Vasishta and other similarly great sages. And he as an expert in attacking using the strength of his shoulder, attained victory over the entirety of the enemy's army single-handedly. He came to be known as an equal to god-king Kubera in terms of wealth by collecting money, grains, and all other similar (valuable) things. Just like how in the past Vaivasvatha Manu subdued the entire world and became an extremely glorified figure, Dasharatha, too, conquered the whole of planet earth. Just like how the king of gods (the one who conquered the 3 things which define and are the meanings for a human life's existence) protects Amaraavti, he too guarded the capital city, Ayodhya.

During that time (Dasharatha's rule), in that city (Ayodhya), all the people were extremely pleased, righteous, and followed the principles mentioned in the meanings of the Vedas. In the town of Ayodhya, there was not even a single person who was short-lived, without a family, without things like food and wealth, or accused of lusting after other's properties or spinning lies. In this city, not only scholars even atheists never claimed: "There is no god or righteousness". There was not a single person with a very disturbed mind or was unsuccessful in life.
