After we ate, my sister washed the dishes, mom sweeps the floor, and dad continued watching his favorite movie in the sala.
As for me, I went straight up to my room and took a shower; I was slowly lathering the shampoo on my hair when I hear my mother shouting, " Geo! did you step on muds on your way home? the floor...the stairs..they were all covered in mud.
(By the way, not to be confused, my real name is Geoliasthenos Pherus, in short Geo,...umm. I'm using Leo Josh as my fake name so that I can protect my parent's legacy; my family knows it and it's okay for them)
After I heard mom asserting those words, I quickly rinsed the shampoo that's lathered all over my head then swiftly took my towel and put my T-shirt on...
But when I check below me, My feet....they were covered in mud and soil, as I also observed when I looked around..my bathroom is now in a mess.
I then shouted "MOM! I don't know where they came from!It's not raining outside plus I'm barefooted, and... here on my Bathroom, everywhere is also muddy!"
"Is that it? then where did it come from?" Mom uttered.
I shook my head whilst I walked outside my bathroom, my feet were all muddy as if I walked on a pit.
I also looked around my room, the floor..I espied my footsteps covered in mud on the floor.
I rushed to go outside my room to check downstairs following my muddy footsteps.
Looking behind me, my footsteps were also leaving mud, recognizing that those dirty footsteps were from me.
I don't know what happened but...for a certain reason, I felt my body became stronger a bit.
Maybe.....

well...in my presumption, maybe my ability...err.. I guess?
As I went down I saw my mother using her ability to wash the muddy footsteps I left, then again I saw father still watching his fave movie, he was immersive so he can't be easily distracted.
My sister who is now done washing also went to the scene where she saw Mom cleaning those dirty footsteps.
Her eyes enlarge as I also see the spark in her eyes whilst I heard from her " Leo..err,Geo..You've unlocked your ability."
My heart fluttered when I hear those words coming out from the MASTER OF FIRE, I was looking at Mom at the time when I heard the tv stopped.
when I looked back My father stood up and heard a serious tone from him..." Son, I have a revelation to tell you"
Curiosity hit me as my heart intensifies its pound. I sat on the chair beside our table, I was barely wearing anything just my t-shirt and underwear that's covered in a towel.
I also saw Mom and sister sat on the chair beside me as if they also have something to tell me.
The deep voice of my father then asserted," Son, First of all, I congratulate you!"
Frowned my eyes for what I heard, as I asked' "Why would you congratulate me dad?"
Beside me was mom who opined' "Geo, you have found your ability just like what your sister told you earlier"
My heart pounds more as I also see those muddy footsteps I left at the stairs slowly budding.
I don't know, I can't explain what I am feeling, I am at a loss of words, and.. one thing I also noticed is that the colorless sight I have is tediously becoming colorful as I again saw the buds in the mud blooming into a wonderful flower.
My father was standing in front of us whilst my sister patted my back as I hear father said, " You are a late bloomer,.."
And I was surprised on the next lines father told me,"...and so..are..we"
My eyes once again enlarge as if I was a tarsier. I gulped as my sister again patted my back..
Hearing her said," Geo, yes..and..Mother is the only one in our family who is not a late bloomer"
Answering in a humble manner as I look at my right, "Sister, why? then....how did I not know?"
Well, it's the first time they ever told a revelation to me about their abilities, I am perplexed as if I was walking in a prickly and drizzly world.
I espied my Father crossing his arms as Mom from my left asserted in a lowly tone, "Geo, unlike you, your sister unleashed her power at the age of 7 and you were three at that time."
Father nodded his head as a sign of agreement then heard him speak, " yes, and also I unleashed my power at the age of 14 whereas you, here in this family is really the latest bloomer"
Realizing from the things they asserted..and confusingly retorted, "doe-es that mean I- I have power now? then what kind of ability do I have?"
I have a lot of questions going through my mind, I don't know what to feel if its euphoria or amazement, it's just...unexplainable!
"Based on your footsteps son, I think you have the ability to manipulate the Earth" Father told me.
"THEN, how can I control it? HAHAHAHAHH I am excited!" I replied with such excitement, my eyes were sparkling..the surrounding I once lived in grayscale became vividly colorful its as if I was sliding through a rainbow.
But sadly I know to myself, I really can't control it yet since I just activated it accidentally, but somehow I felt Okay, knowing that I have an ability now which before I believe I didn't have.
My family, who inspired me, who gave me inspiration....they are also the reason why my ability appeared unexpectedly to my reckless life.
The pointless dot In my life slowly is turning into a line of art that is soon to become my masterpiece!
I was more inspired, the burning passion and desire in my heart to be stronger intensifies as I see my family's face happily smiling towards me.
Clenching my fist as I asserted "Ma, Pa, Sis, I'll try my best, and please help me train so that someday I can control this ability that is within me"
They all agreed to say, "YES!"
At last, I am not a loser anymore....no, I am still a cripple...I still cannot control my ability so. I have nothing to boast about.
My heart.... it's just full of excitement and desire.
I stood up and tried to clear the blooming mud in the stairs so that I could walk, but sadly,.....
I REALLY CANNOT CONTROL MY POWER YET.
I have tried many times pointing my hand, saying words "Disappear!; Vanish!" which does not seem to give effect.
My parents and sister were just smiling the whole time yet I know that they are proud of me, deep inside my heart I feel their love, always there to support me.
Father then went back to the sala, opened the Tv, continuing his movie, My Mother flew up the stairs full of flowers which anyone can't get in except my mom who can fly...
My sister just sat on the chair at the corner looking at her phone patiently waiting for me to erase the mud.
1 hour has passed..umm.. it's already 10:00 PM and until now I had not yet cleared the path, well I did my best,..but..well, nothing happened, so I asked my sister to clear the way by using her fire because I am tired after deliberately pointing my hand and did magical poses at the mud over and over again which none had made its effect.
My sister then went near me, face in front of the stair that's full of blooming flowers in the mud.
I was awed right when I saw her just effortlessly reach out her hand then alas, the flowers burned. as for the mud, we asked father to clean it since mom is now asleep.
Father's movie ended as He stood up and turned the tv off.
Since papa is an aether manipulator, I believe that they can also control the four elements, so...
And.. I was correct when I see him use water to clean the mud by the use of only his brain... Then afterward he used air to dry the wooden stairs; he went up along with my sister and me so that we could sleep.
As for me, I noticed my muddy footprints stopped already.
My sister went to her room and my father went to their room with mama. I then went to my room which is now cleaned, realizing that Mom cleaned it before she went to sleep.
Laying my back on the soft cushion bed, I was painfully tired trying my best just to cast my ability but I failed....
I immediately shook my head when I realize I need to put shorts on before I sleep, I then stood up, pick a pajama.
Before I lie in bed, I decided to look first on the mirror.
I always see this reflection every time I look at the whole body mirror. Hazel eyes, white fair skin, brown hair, and oval shaped-face. I am tall, maybe 6'4, also not to mention, I have a fit body and handsome in total... I touched my chin with my thumb and index finger, smiling towards the mirror, doing cool poses.....suddenly, I slapped my face slightly as I said to myself.
"Stop this nonsense Geo, you have a school meeting tomorrow and must wake up early in the morning!"
I just laughed after I asserted those words then shook my head as I rest my tired body on my bed.
Before I sleep, I contemplated..
"Oh, what a day today, I just unleashed my ability...accidentally..At least I prove to myself, that I do have an ability!" as my heart still flutters I put my blanket on, while I rest my head on the fluffy pillows, and relaxing my joints as am slowly closing my eyes...after seconds, I then went to sleep.
