The Hollow is an artpiece that is part of Elle Gray 2000 collection. Elle Gray most known and popular piece from that collection was The Bright Light which is currently been showcased in the Hamsmith Gallery since last summer. Elle Gray first emerged in the art world in the early 2000 when she painted the The Blue light after surviving a huge hurricane and since then have been making big waves in the art industry. She is a very talented artist known for her unquie technique in her brush applications and also for winning the Bucksbaum Award in 2017.

"Darling raise the card........' He said again looking a bit worried

"Raise it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He shouted making me to immediately raise the card up with shock

Sold to the gorgeous lady in the Golden table number 2....." The auctioneer shouted pointing our way with a huge smile on with all the focus on us
"The next item on the list is Item 11......"
"So.....What do you think?" He asked looking at me for a response
"Wooooooooooooooow" I gasped out still in shock
"I know right
It really was from the intense bidding to the way we dropped our card at the very last minute, it was so......" His voice drained down in my head as i tried processing everything that just went down
"Hey!....:

Earth to Valera...." He said waving his hand in my face
"I am here....." I said snapping out
"Are you sure?" He asked still staring at me strangely
"Yes I am but $40000.......
I can't believe I just bidded $40000 for a piece of art.......
Don't get me wrong I know Elle Gray is a talented artist but $40000........
With everything going on......
$40000......" i said whispering the last part to myself
"I think i am going give you a minute" He said

I can't just believe it was $40000 that was on the bidding card, Why didn't you tell me?" I asked him still in shock
"There was no time
That aside did you enjoy it?
Was it as intense as the ones you have seen in movies?" He asked expectantly not at all bothered by the amount unlike me who couldn't get over that
"Yes I did.....
It was.....really something......." I said stuttering the words that came to me still trying to shake the amount out of my head

"Don't mention it and really I should be the one thanking you, It really a nice event and I feel honoured to be your guest" I said
"My pleasure, I really do hope my nonna likes her birthday present" He replied

So what happens next?
Do you pay for it now or wait till after the event to pay....." I asked finally ready to put my plan in motion
"Normally after each bidding someone is assigned to collect the card for payment of the item but one of the peaks of siitting at the Golden table is before the event we drop our card and other necessary information like our security detail down so no need for any disturbance during the event. Payment is already made and the item will be wrapped and dropped off for us by the management" He explained, ruining yet another one of my plan of getting his name. The plan was to first get him interested in an item which happened without any needed input then get him to bid for an item and win the item. The plan was to happened after he had paid, it is come knowledge that a thank you is to follow after paying for a goods or service and that was what I was fully banking on to happen but I don't see that happening since he had already paid down for the Art work
"oh.....okay" I sadly said frustrated that the plan didn't work
"Why do you sound sad?
We got the piece" He asked perplexed
"Yes we did,
I just miss Sophie, I have never left her alone two nights in a row" I said spitting out the first thing that came to mind
"Sophie is really lucky to have you
You are an amazing sister, I hope you know that" He said with so much sincerity I could fill my eyes go teary
"Thanks" I replied quietly feeling a bit bad for lying to him about why I was sad, I did feel sad about leaving Sophie but that wasn't the reason I was sad at the moment and I couldn't just tell him it was because all through the evening I had been devising different plans on how to get his name or any information about him because I was so drunk from the other night that I didn't remember his name and all the things I told him the other night.

" I was going to tell you the other time but we got interrupted but now I have been given more time to think about it No" I said

I mean no i wouldn't tell you if it is my list" I said finally getting some control back

You will have to wait till Thursday to know" I said when I could not find any reason to not telling him

So by Thursday I will tell or maybe I will not......." I said smiling knowing he could finally have a feel of how I felt all through the event
