Chapter 4 - The Fuck I Give

I sigh heavily as my mother supervises my shower in the girl's locker room. The white tile walls and lack of stalls making this an awkward intimate situation.

Mom, can I have a little privacy?

No, can you not fall out on the field and get sexually mauled by a alpha werewolf? No? Then I'll stand here.

I sigh heavily again. The one moment in my life where I wished my mind wasn't linked to my mother's.

What am I going to do? He can smell my heat even when I've either altered or diminished it completely. Maybe because he's a alpha...or maybe he's my....No! No way in hell am I the mate of a an entirely different breed. That hasn't happened in centuries. And only someone of royal blood can do that. No need to overthink it.

But you are of royal blood, my sweet.

Mom, out!

I turn around and glare at her as she chuckles in the corner. I roll my shoulders in a attempt to remove the slowly building tension and wash the blue mask out of my 'fro. Switching my brain on auto, I finish my hair and wash my body humming away the silence. After finishing my shower I proceed to the actual locker area and get dress. Reminding myself to lather in shea butter and oatmeal for my over worked skin and muscles. Leaning back I feel hands in my still wet hair. The plain wedding ban and the long nails tell me it's my mother. She loves playing in my poof of hair. I sigh as she braids her signature stars on one side of my head, angling them to framing my heart shaped face. When she's done I take out the hair product I brought with me. Hair moisturizer, specially made hair grease and hair decor. I lather my hair until my curls start popping up and then I define them. After a few minutes I'm ready to go and start putting on clothes, rubbing the extra hair grease into my skin for extra shine and moisture. Finally back into uniform I sit at the vanity and re-fleek my brows. Smiling, I do a natural glam look and put my things away.

"You seriously love your self-care, huh?" Hearing his annoying voice shocks me for a second but I quickly regain composer.

"What do you want?"

"Just checking on my girl. I got to the game late, heard you fainted."

"Jordan, I'm not your girlfriend anymore. I appreciate your concern but you're becoming borderline creepy at this point." Jordan looks at me and smiles. He flashes his all black eyes at me. A threat.

"You. Are. My. Girl." Unfazed, I lean forward.

"No, I was until you became a possessive physically violent ass-hat." I blink twice letting my premium lashes do their job. He growls lowering himself so he's eye level with me.

"You made me that way. You were flirting with that ass from the other team."

"His name is Daniel and I wasn't flirting. He was and I was trying to brush him off when you decided to get violent. Blame yourself for being dumped. I had to beat your ass in front of him and your team because you can't keep your hands to yourself. And don't think because you got closer that I will back down. I will beat your ass again in here." He sighs and looks at me.

"Mychael, I would never intentionally put my hands on you. Do you even know what he was saying about you? What he was betting he'd get to do?"

"Yes, I know. Do you think I'm dumb? Of course I knew. I knew before you did, why do you think you were the last to know. I knew about your temper and was handling it, 9 like a little boy whose toys he thought were being taken from him. I told you from the get-go, act like a child get treated like one. Now, if you'll excuse me my future is sitting on the bleachers to find out if I'm okay or not." Jordan makes me sit back down, pushes until he's on his knees between my legs. He looks right at my lips and back to my eyes. I smirk and look away. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me forward.

"Mychael, I want to be apart of that future."

"I bet." He chuckles letting his hands slide from my waist to my ass. Adjusting so he's sitting at full height, hovering above me. I know what he wants and I have no intention of allowing him to have it. I put my hand on his chest to push him away, only for him to grab my wrist and kiss me. He deepens the kiss and then I bite him.

"Owww!!"

"'Ow,' poor baby. Maybe you'll stop invading my personal space. Or should I report you for sexual harassment?" He looked at me with pure rage and confusion in his eyes.

"One day you're going to regret turning your emotions on and off little bunny. I can't wait to have a front row seat." Rolling my eyes, I stand up reapply my lip gloss and walk out. As soon as I know I'm not in eye view it takes everything inside me not to bawl. To not scream at my own mental frustration. I feel arms wrap around me and look up to see Elizabeth.

"I'm so tired, Liz..."

"I know sis', you'll be able to rest soon." I nod she's right. I don't have time to waste on him. Love can wait. I take a deep breath and hug her back.

"Let's rock this shit."

Side lines...Opposition

He sat there annoyed. He wants her so badly that he could feel his whole body ache in need, in desperation. He growled and ran his hands through his short curly hair. As he stared at the ground contemplating life shoes appeared in his field of vision. He looked up to see his father, annoyed.

"So, you still don't have control over yourself..."

"Hello, to you too dad... You need something?"

His father growled and unlike his younger brother he was not afraid. He just looked at him and smiled. His dad frowned knowingly.

"Out of all the beautiful girls here, you had to pick THAT one."

"Why? Does it make you comfortable to know that her skin is beautiful to me or that I became a good man without you? Better than the one you've taught my brother to be." For a moment sadness crosses his face but then it quickly returns to a dull stare.

"I know you hate me, but try to show me show respect. you wouldn't exist without me."

"Yeah, I would've just not by you."

"That's not what I meant," he sighed.

"But it is what I meant." Daimen's father pauses choosing is next words carefully.

"I miss her, too..." Hangings his head he waved goodbye and disappeared.

Daimen's teammates look at each other as coach calls the next play. Daniel walks towards the field intentionally bumping his brother hard.

"You're the reason I hate mom." Daimen huffs and shakes his head at his little brother.

As the game continues, she's still on his mind. His team loses by eight points and he decides right there he's transferring.
