"Very well. You can call me King Taki from now on." Taki said in his grandeur-filled voice. He looked at Bluesy. "How come you can talk, and the others not?"
"I am of race Blue Slime, Slime color of Intelligence. We split maybe always, but seeing you make fire inspired me learn." The Azure Slime said, bowing to Taki.
"Well, I have a lot to discuss with you, then." Taki looked at the other Slimes. They would evolve if eating properly, so Taki's goal right now would be to feed them. Having powerful workers would help his future kingdom develop. "Green Slimes of the Slime Kingdom, your duty for now is to maintain a constant supply of food and fuel for the fire, so you can grow stronger."
The Green Slimes nodded, and slid out of the room.
"So, Bluesy." Taki said, sitting and sliding another charred bonny in its direction. "Tell me everything about Slimes."
"I know very little, poyo, are sure?" Bluesy asked, his tone insecure.
"Yes, I know less than you, so any information helps."
"Okay. We Slimes no know where we come from, only that I was the first one. When Slime eat, grow bigger. When Slime big enough, can split into two Slime, new Slime has no memory. If Slime eat crystal, can turn different color instead of split. Green is normal, Blue is Intelligence, and Purple is poison. There are other, but Bluesy never see."
Bluesy had a solemn look in its blue, gooey face. "I was first poyo, Slime, dungeon filled with monster but good monsters, fed and no attack, and there was king of monsters, black devil like you, but much bigger, had wing,. We were hundreds, but attacked by dirty humans and slain. Poyoo... I survive with deception, lies and trickery, pretending to death only to not."
Taki nodded. 'There was another black devil like me? So I'm a black devil? Interesting.'
"I stay, and eat what is left. It was we job before to eat corpses. I search for King, but king disappear. Po. I split, we consume everything, and we protect dungeon. But we starve, but we could not go out without order. But you appear, poyo, and you give order, now we fed, and now we can split again. We happy, poyo."
"I see." Taki started petting Bluesy subconsciously, and just noticed it. He decided to keep petting it. "Are you lost without orders?"
"Yes, poyo. We Slimes no purpose in life, king gives purpose."
Taki lifted himself from the ground.
'Perfect. I think it may be due to the Slime being raised by the old King that he came to think that, but it aligns with my goal. This will be interesting.' Taki held a grin to himself, and nodded.
"Well, glad I'm here then. Can you tour me across the dungeon? Is there anything left?"
"Yes, no, poyo."
Bluesy slid out of the room, and Taki accompanied him.
--- --- ---
The dungeon was in ruins. If it was anything else other than a cave, it had all been gone and taken away. The walls had giant cracks in them, the floor had holes in it, and except for small stones and pebbles on the ground, it was clean of any objects. The cave itself was big, with three floors connected by diagonal tunnels, the entrance and the tunnels connected by one long corridor. The corridors had several rooms attached to it, but most had their rooftops crumbled, filling them with stone. Bluesy presented the rooms with names numbered 1 to 24.
At the end of the last corridor, two metal doors with ornaments stood tall, but closed, seemingly out of place.
"We no able open doors." Bluesy said, as he prodded the ornaments on the side of the door. There was a phrase that circulated the door, but in a language Taki couldn't read. "King told us not to enter, po."
Taki pushed against the two doors, opening them. A blast of dust hit him in the face, accompanied a smell so horrible he barely held his dinner inside.
The room was much taller and wider than the other rooms, with a floor made out of polished stone, and pillars spread across the sides, most broken. The back of the room had steps, leading to a bone throne with an empty pedestal in front of it. There were dozens, no, hundreds of corpses stacked on the floor. These were the remains of a fierce battle.
"A throne room." Taki said, as he walked in, stepping on some bones that cracked with his weight. Bluesy audibly jumped on every crack, landing back on the ground with 'plop' sounds.
Taki walked to the bone throne, and sat on it. He looked at the sea of corpses, and the empty pedestal. The pedestal was very clearly important, and something should be sitting above it, something crucial.
And out of the corner of his eyes, something caught his attention. He knelt near the pedestal, reading a writing on the side.

"That's..." Taki muttered to himself. "The access code?"
He tapped on his legs, searching for his pockets.
Oh, wait a second.
He didn't have clothes on.
