The wings of the prince have grown. Its wings are half, so it's very small, but it was perfect for a petite prince.
I had my back bandage removed and my doctor recommended that I walk for rehabilitation, but because of my feathers, I've been walking around the mansion every day so far.
Fernand was able to see the prince twice in the morning and in the evening on both short hours, but he was still trying hard. It often happens that, while staying in the office during the day, he suddenly stops working and dazed.
"The Maillard Royal family is ruined, so why should I be forced to work overtime? This kind of paperwork should be done by someone other than me, who is available. Colonel, What do you think?"
"Maybe your brother, who was so perceptive, was harassed by the roundabout way, because he doesn't have a lover yet."
When Brundle replied, turning over the documents, Fernand lifts his arms in a pitiful manner.
"I'm scared of jealousy of a man. The prince is mine."
"No one is in love with your prince."
"Rude, that cute creature, there are no two in this world."
The colonel shook his head as Fernand leaned forward and stressed.
"Love is often said to be blind."
"Love? Is this love?"
He was purposely surprised and exaggerated, but he didn't work for the colonel.
"Why don't you use that much waste and get rid of it quickly? Become a subordinate who is associated with you."
It's going to take a few more weeks like this. The two soldiers turned to the pile of documents with a smooth look.
When Fernand goes out of work and returns to the mansion for a break and a meal, it's becoming more and more customary these days to ask the butler when he greets.
"I'm reading in the solarium on the first floor. I'm about to have a light."
"I'll take it"
Upon receiving the lamp the butler had in his hand, Fernand headed into the solarium with a quick footstep, without showing his tired appearance.
The sun was starting to set in.
The white wings of the prince sitting on the couch by the window of the solarium were dyed in the sunset color. Perhaps he had been absorbed in books until now, and his little face turned to the door, as if he noticed the visitors only after the lights of the room were illuminated.
"...Fernand"
"It's dinner time soon."
When I approached the couch, there was an innocent face that repeatedly blinks because of the sudden brightness.
"I'm still not hungry"
"Let's tell the chef to do it a little later."
"Then I'm reading the rest of the book... What about Fernand?"
"Will you be together until time?"
"Aside, it's fine."
The fluttering movements of the feathers, even though they look dull, are proof that they are happy. Fernand looked at the scene with satisfaction.
"I like the continuation of the book, but I want to talk about it again."
"Okay, about what?"
"About your future"
Fernand's words made the prince look surprised.
"Actually, the messenger of King Barthelemy arrived the other day. According to the King, you can return to Maillard if you wish."
"Eh...return home!?"
The prince's dark eyes were wide open.
