Chapter 39 - Cliche Stuff

Jean recommended a place to eat not far from their school location. The place is very popular on social media because several Instagram celebrities make vlogs in that place.

Maureen and Jean went to the place in a white Toyota Prius driven by Jean. Zico and Marsel each brought a light green Kawasaki Ninja 300 and a black Honda CBR250RR.

While Aldy still sticks with his favorite black Ducati Streetfighter 848, complete with carbon modifications to the engine frame, a bore-up engine with a refined exhaust sound.

One car and three motorbikes. Quite extravagant transportation options for a high school student.

At first, Aldy wanted to go in Jean's car. However, if he thought of having to go back to school to pick up his motorbike later, it would become even more troublesome.

When they arrived at the place they wanted to go, Aldy wondered why Jean recommended a place to eat with an inadequate parking area like this while she brought a car.

And the parking lot of this restaurant is also almost full. There is only a very suitable place for the three big motorbikes that Aldy, Marsel, and Zico brought.

Jean and Maureen had to walk a bit from where they had parked the car.

"Is it far?" Aldy asked Jean.

Jean was silent for a moment. If she's not mistaken, this is the first time Aldy spoke to her. Previously, when Aldy spoke to her, it was only when they met for the first time. The second is when they both queue at the school cafeteria cashier during recess.

Jean still remembered Aldy only said two words to him. The first word was "Aldy" when they met after Aldy beat up a senior named Arman, who said harsh things to Maureen and Jean. And the second word was "Whatever" when Jean decided to pay for their orders at the cafeteria.

And right now, Aldy was the one who spoke to him first.

Even though it's a trivial thing, Jean seems grateful for this moment. The moment where Aldy was the one to talk to her first.

"No. My car park isn't too far from here."

Aldy just nodded briefly then walked first into the restaurant.

It was Jean who recommended this place, but it was Aldy who first check if there was a place for them to sit, considering the parking lot was full of vehicles.

Luckily, they still got a place in an area that looked like a garden with an open roof. Outdoor dining is heaven for smokers like Aldy. Although he didn't know that there was a room if he wanted to enjoy the nicotine sticks.

The situation was proceeding as things normally would.

They started ordering food. And not long after, the order arrived.

Aldy treats Maureen very sweetly during the meal. Zico and Marsel always tried to say sweet things to Jean, which made the girl laugh at their silly act.

"Wait a minute. It looks like I have to do something," said Zico, who stood up from his chair and walked towards the restroom.

The situation in the restaurant was quite crowded. Moreover, the restaurant is indeed smaller. Although, it is cozy and Instagram-able.

Bukkk~...

Zico accidentally bumps into a waiter who is taking orders for customers. Thanks to Zico's actions, the tray he was holding became unstable and spilled some of its contents onto other customers. To be more precise, to someone who was also wearing a high school uniform.

"Sorry, bro. I didn't mean to." Zico showed a guilty expression, although his face was quite strange because he was also holding back the urge to urinate.

The person looked at his uniform, which was spilled with coffee liquid, making brown spots printed clearly on his white uniform.

"What the fuck is this?!" he shouted, making all pairs of eyes in the restaurant look towards the source of the sound.

The person turned his gaze towards Zico. For a moment, the direction of his gaze was stuck on the school logo that was in the pocket of Zico's uniform.

"So you're the bastard from Caius Ballad?"

Zico did not answer the person's question. The only thing he needed was to go to the toilet as soon as possible.

It seems that only Zico has the habit of holding back the urge to urinate.

Such an idiot habit.

Hearing the name of Caius Ballad's school being mentioned, a few of the people in the restaurant looks scared at Zico. Perhaps they were the ones who knew the identity of the Caius Ballad school gang, the school gang that was standing at the top right now.

And who is the leader?

Of course.

Who else if not Rizaldy Pradipta.

However, among them, some looked at Zico with a look full of hostility.

And a moment later, about four people stood around Zico.

"Okay, I know what you guys want to do. I'll serve you all. But, I really have to pee."

Zico said it quickly and ran towards the toilet.

One of the four people who had surrounded Zico earlier pointed his finger at the table where Aldy was. Because Aldy, Marsel, Maureen, and Jean have the same school emblem on their uniforms, of course, those people will immediately know that they go to the same school as Zico.

Aldy was still expressionless, eating his Chicken Karage Barbeque quietly, while Marsel looked back at them with a look full of anticipation.

"Dy ... It looks like they won't let us eat in peace," Marsel said as he continued to stare at the four people.

Aldy swallowed his food but still didn't take his eyes off the plate in front of him. He just felt lazy to serve them. According to him, they are just a bunch of idiots who like to dig their own graves.

Moreover, Aldy doesn't like it when Maureen sees him fighting.

The four people came to Aldy's table.

"The reason why we're here doesn't need to be explained, does it?" said the person whose uniform spilled the coffee liquid.

Marsel put on an angry expression. "No, you do have to explain. Why are lowly clowns like you here?"

"Haha~ ... what a funny asshole."

Aldy, who previously did not want to interfere, now stood up.

With a cold yet expressionless gaze, he stared at the four people as if they were nothing of value at all. Like Aldy was staring at the blank white blackboard in front of the class. Not interesting at all.

"All of you, come with me," said Aldy calmly, who immediately stepped out.

The four people followed Aldy's footsteps, looking ready to fight like a gang of thugs. But, they look so tacky from various perspectives. Did the four of them watch too many movies about student fights in Japan or something?

Marsel, who was just about to stand up, had his arm held by Jean.

Marsel turned, "What's wrong?"

At first, Marsel thought that Jean was scared and asked him to stay seated to accompany her and Maureen here. Or it could be, Jean already knew how great Aldy was in fighting after torturing someone in front of her own eyes in class earlier.

However, Jean instead said something that made Marsel frown.

"It's better if I'm the one who helps Aldy. You can stay here with Maureen," said Jean, smiling a sweet smile.

Marsel tried to glance at Maureen, but Maureen didn't look surprised by that.

Jean stepped away, leaving Marsel and Maureen at their table. Zico, who had just returned from the restroom, sat down beside Maureen. "Has Aldy sent the four ugly penguins to Hong Kong already?"

Zico realized that the four people from the other school were no longer there, and so was Aldy. Zico thought that Aldy had solved the problem for him.

So, he felt no need to interfere. Although to face those four lowly creatures, there is no need to trouble Aldy. But Zico noticed another person who had disappeared from there.

"Eh? Where's Jean?"

Marsel still had a confused look on his face.

Maureen swallowed her Iced Lychee Tea, "Jean just went to help Aldy fight with them."

As expected, Zico was surprised to hear that. "Huh?! What did you say?! What the-- …"

Zico was about to catch up with Jean, but Maureen shook her head. "Don't worry. Jean can take care of herself better than anyone."

"Huh? Do you realize what you just said?" Zico asked, still not understanding what Maureen meant.

"Jean once saved my life when my late mother and I were accidentally caught in a mass brawl between some school gangs. Jean helped us out with her self-defense skills."

"Wait a minute... No way... You mean ... That Jean?"

Maureen nodded, with the straw between her upper and lower lips. "Yup. Is there any other Jean besides our Jean?"

Outside, Aldy stopped his steps in a place that seemed quite far away, as did the four people who followed him from behind. Aldy turned to look at them.

"Thanks in advance. Because of trashes like you, I don't have to ask my sister for permission to smoke." Aldy said flatly while the four people looked at each other.

Aldy, who had been expressionless all this time, now turned into a surprise when he saw a woman walking towards the place where they were.

Aldy frowned when the woman was beside him and gave him a sweet smile.

Aldy looked at her with a slightly confused look on his face.

"Jean? What are you doing here?"
