Aldy, Maureen, Jean, Marsel, and Zico sat on the cafeteria chairs.
The five of them sat there after Zico chased away a group of second-year students who seemed to be waiting for their orders.
Of course, the three boys and two girls were the main focus in the cafeteria. Aldy is the most feared and adored person at school. Marsel and Zico are known to be close friends of Aldy and, as well as two very influential people in the school gang. Plus, Maureen and Jean who are currently first-class prima donna.
"I heard Aldy beat up someone in your class earlier?" Zico asked Maureen.
Marsel and Zico already knew Maureen.
Maureen did not comment. Aldy also didn't seem to want to answer it.
But, it was Jean who spoke up. "Someone insulted us. He said we were both whores."
Both Zico and Marsel's eyes widened perfectly. They both looked at each other.
Zico looked back at Jean as the only person who answered his question. "Then, how is that person? Is he now a corpse?"
"No, he hasn't turned into a corpse yet. However, he might not be able to live normally for the next few months. Aldy really destroyed him mercilessly."
"Isn't that a miracle?" said Zico. "Of course, it's a miracle if someone who insulted Maureen hasn't been sent to the afterlife by Aldy."
Marsel nodded in agreement with Zico's statement.
"By the way, are you Maureen's friend?" continued Zico, who had been curious about the figure of the woman sitting with them.
Jean held out one hand. "My name is Jean. Jeanice Ainsley. Maureen's best friend since middle school."
Zico welcomed Jean's outstretched hand with enthusiasm. "I'm Zico Kahandi, your senior who is kind and very handsome. You can call me Zico, honey, or future husband."
Bammm!~ ...
Marsel punched Zico in the back of the head, making him scream in pain. "You disgusting flirty bastard, keep your demeanor in front of someone you just met!"
After punching Zico in the back of the head, Marsel put on a pretentious expression and grabbed Jean's arm. "I'm Marsel Sebastian Wiguna, Aldy's classmate, the best man in the world, the ideal son-in-law for all in-laws ..."
Duakkkk!~ ...
It was Zico's turn to smack Marsel's head.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" Marshall complained.
"That should be my question! Didn't you just do what I did?" Zico replied.
They looked at each other with expressions full of hostility as if ready for a fight at any moment.
However, their behavior actually made Jean unable to hold back her laughter.
Marsel and Zico turned to Jean, who was laughing. In their minds, Jean looked cuter when she was laughing like that. Both Marsel and Zico's cheeks reddened by Jean.
"Hahahaha~ ... You guys are so cute. Nice to meet you two. Please take good care of me as your junior." Jean bowed her head politely but still looked very graceful. "I hope we can be closer in the future."
Sweet words from Jean managed to silence Marsel and Zico.
Aldy didn't care about them at all.
"What would you like to eat?" Aldy asked Maureen, who was sitting next to him.
Maureen turned, "What about you?"
"Why do you always question me back every time I ask you something?"
"I'll eat whatever you eat."
Aldy thought for a moment. "Want some rice?"
Maureen shook her head slowly.
"Then a burger. And what about the drink?"
"I'll drink whatever you drink."
"Would you like some iced tea?" asked Aldy, who got a nod from Maureen. Aldy smiled as he gently stroked the top of Maureen's head. "Then I'll order it. Wait here."
Aldy got up from his chair and went to the place to order.
Zico saw Jean who was silent because of Aldy's overly sweet attitude towards Maureen.
"You don't need to be surprised. Let's just say that Aldy really loves Maureen as his sister."
Jean turned to Zico and just smiled.
Maureen also turned to Jean. "Don't you want to order food too? Should I call Aldy back?"
"Cheeseburger for me." cut Zico.
"Me too." Marshall also ordered.
Jean turned and smiled at Zico and Marsel. "Then you all ordered cheeseburgers, right? I'll have them."
Jean got up from her chair and walked after Aldy.
Now, only Maureen, Zico, and Marsel were there.
"Reen, Jean is your best friend, right?"
Maureen turned to Zico, who suddenly asked about Jean.
"Yeah, why?"
"Does she already have a boyfriend?"
Maureen shook her head in response to Zico's question. "I don't know. We haven't seen each other in almost two years."
"Then, help me to get her, okay?" Zico asked openly, which took Marsel by surprise.
"You ugly rat, know your place! Maureen also knows that Jean suits me better, don't you think?" Marsel asked Maureen.
"Just shut your fuck up, grandpa! Don't you know that your face looks like engine oil?"
"Damn you monkey's nostril!"
Maureen chuckled at Zico and Marsel's behavior. "If you two are curious, why don't you just ask Jean directly?"
Zico and Marcel fell silent.
Not because of Maureen's answer, but because of seeing Maureen laugh. Maureen looks so cute when she laughs. Maureen is indeed beautiful. But they also still want to live long, considering how Aldy loves Maureen very much.
Neither of them wanted to cross a line that no one should have crossed.
