Chapter 6 - Chapter Six- What?

Friska's Pov

This was beyond awful. One night unleshed a very wicked demon upon us and I played a role just by being here. Everything my friend's said went through my ears as their statements grew to fade. At this point in time, all I could think about was the many ways my parents would skin me alive.

My little brother would miss me in no way, he would be quite eager to grab my belongings and celebrate his big sister's death using nursery rhymes. The little twat climbed my every nerve and I believe it was his aim to have me killed when he grazed on my last nerve daily. I grew sad as I stared at my feet, deep down I had a feeling I may never sew my family again. I threw my happiness away for the gain of temporary pleasure.

I wet my lips as I ran my fingers through my hair, hair that was way taller than I had remembered. I was never one to cry but now I felt like crying about this whole mess.

"What?" I asked as I planted my buttocks onto the grass neatly, Adis following suit as he stared at his sneakers. Crissy's hair was now short but the colour was maintained, her eyes fixed on me. The red head did not feel too good about her idleness this time and she a had the right to feel low, she was one of the main contributors to this mess. I took a deep breath as I brought my head back as I relaxed on my palms.

"None of us believed in this stupid game until Steno introduced it" She stated as she crossed her arms, a scowl on her face as she rocked her hips slightly. This was the scene in the horror film that we were all familiar with; blame the other person when the trouble evoked. Wendy gazed at me while I glared at Steno who looked a bit too calm.

Who am I kidding? He was always calm because getting in trouble was the only thing he was good at. I was just as stupid because while I felt the urge to back out of this stupid camp night I still chose to run along with this nonsense. I growled, Adis placing a hand onto my thigh in order to calm me.

There was not one good reason to be calm about this. Steno deserved a fist to the mouth.

"Where did you even find that none-sense?" I asked as I stared at the board that Wendy was now holding, Jacob following my gaze while the others frowned in misery. While I did not look to Steno the question was his to answer because he was the leader of this calamity.

His reply was quite calm.

"Walk with me" he suggested and Adis was on his feet in no time, a hand being stretched towards me whereby I accepted that hand gladly. While I had never been accustomed to the area the forest looked different in multiple aspects. I dipped my fists in the pockets of my jeans, Wendy stumbling over her own two feet while I continued to consume my surroundings visually.

Something was not quite right here.

"I found the darn thing here" Steno anounced as we came upon a cracked tree, my eyes moving upward only to discover that the tree was leafless and there was a swamp in the distance. I gagged at the pungent odour, Adis arm being my support as I stared at my white sneakers that were being swallowed by mud.

"F*ck, this place stinks" Melody hissed while Opez scratched his skin but at the rate it was done it was clear that he wanted to tear the skin from his bones. He was the only one to scratch I so he deserved the weird looks aimed in his direction. The main irritation was the raw scent floating around in the air, everything else could be ignored.

Jacob clapped his skin, my fingers pinching my nose aggressively. Crissy was next to me the moment there was a sound, her slender fingers squeezing my flesh a bit too tightly. Jacob looked around, another mosquito escaping death. He adjusted his spectacles as he tries to find the mosquitoes that aimed for blood.

"It is just the wind" he assured Crissy and Wendy looked around, her arms squeezing her body slightly.

"Or the f*cking wolves coming to get us" Melody stated as she stood next to Fioni. Just like Crissy Fioni wore a face of panick but she was smarter that the rest of us, she had a piece of stick as her weapon. The rest of us had our two hands and if I am honest, mine is quite useless.

Steno placed his fist to his hips, his eyes scanning the area while Crissy stared at the tall fellow. It was clear that we all blamed Steno for this tragedy but there was no way in hell I was looking for him to fix it.

"Something seemat odd" Steno stated and my boyfriend was the one to speak. Adidas was usually a calm fellow but at this point he did not look very calm.

"No sh*t Sherlock, the entire Forrest looks like the setting of a horror film" Adidas stated as he threw his jacket over my shoulder. I closed my eyes, at least our clothing remained the same somewhat.

"Did you find the game in the tree?" I asked and Steno stared down at me with a puzzled expression. Hr crossed his arms.

"Yes, why?" he asked and I took a small step backwards.

"The tree is decomposing, break it down" I stated and Steno and Addison stared at each other. My small request was executed.
