While I left Skies house in the small house, I retraced the way I came from all the way to the guild which I found while roaming around town. It was by the center of town. Other being two stories tall it gave off a wild west look. As I walked in you could hear how lively the adventurers are throughout the building.
I walked up to a receptionist that happened to be free and asked to register. " Wonderful! You came at the right time! A class is about to begin! It'll let you know some basics on adventurer's life. I just need you to pay five copper coins for the class." I took out five copper and paid her. I got them from Sky. I didn't ask but he gave them to me with a big side smirk before I left. Now he felt like a uncle to me but one not to share much info with. He might pull me into something…. Anyway after paying the receptionist took down a hallway in the back of the guild into a room with about ten people.
As soon as I sat down a person on a small stage that looked like a guild worker started talking. " Ok I know all of you want to get started but for now listen here, and I'll try to keep it short. I will also tell you now that I will be blunt and not sugar coat it for the dense or narrow minded people here. I was asked to do this because I am blunt. If you have questions me or other workers here will answer them afterwards. If you have a problem leave or become a mercenary and regret not listening to me. Now let's get started.
Some basic information in case you never left town or know nothing outside of it. There are different classes of animals as far as danger just like adventurers. F rank mostly harmless but can still bite and send wimps crying to there mother, and we have F rank adventurers do the trivial tasks. E rank doesn't roll off the tongue but it's a rank, monster at E rank are like your normal giant spiders, goblins, and such. At this point we have the E rank adventurers go with the more experienced D or sometimes C rank adventurers, by doing this they could learn more and be able to do quests easier in the future. If not then go read a book or get some pointers. There is a arena set aside for spars or big events.
D rank adventurers to B rank usually deal with escorts, elimination of certain monster, it's not hard to guess. Between each rank is a test required to take in order to rank up unless by some miracle you got the guild master's approval. S rank has to be acquired by making a miracle happen like killing a dragon, saving a village from a hoard of monsters, and such. The only other way is a list of accomplishments that would be notable to royalty for about four years and almost a page long.
Other than that. A few last notes. F to D rank adventurers need to do at least one quest a week, B and A rank Once a month. The exceptions are injuries, long quests, a approved notice at least two weeks before hand, and rarely approved vaccinations. Any questions?" The room was silent. He waited a moment and asked " Was anyone listening?" Every one nodded their head in response.
Before the guild worker finished I rose my hand and asked " If we didn't know what class we are beforehand I'm assuming that the guild will help us with that?" He responded back with a relieved expression "yes." After that he told everyone to come back tomorrow for registration and classes.
[ Author's note: I'm not satisfied with the work I got done during the break. In other words I will work on one or two more and release them later today or tomorrow. Thanks for the wait! Also if you have a suggestion for future events for the plot or anything I'm more than willing to listen. Thanks!]
