A devastating and awe-inducing roar burst out in the open hall, stunning some of the players and shocking the rest.
"James!"
A scream sounded, but before the player who went by the name James could react, a black shadow struck him, smashing him towards the wall at the edge of the hall. James' body sunk into the hall and created a depression; his life unknown at the moment.
"Damn it." The mage who led the team couldn't help but curse.
At that moment, James was but one of the few players who got hit by the monster's attack and was pretty much disabled.
The current location was a wide hall in Wandereich, the labyrinth of the lost. Although it appeared to be a hall, it was actually a false world and just so happened to be the false world the labyrinth guardian, Holjan, had spawned.
