Injured and frustrated, the basilisk failed to stand firm against Katsuo's move despite being much larger than him. The collision took the basilisk off its balance as it fell to the ground with a loud thud. Xue Yan and Fudo immediately followed up by bombarding it with flame spells while Seiichi made precise shots at its weak points and open wounds.
"Keep it up and we would have this in the bag. Yato, Matsui, you can join in. But keep in mind your main duties." Sato called out adjustments to the team's formation.
"Noted."
Matsui and Yato replied before rushing towards the fight. By now, Sato had already drawn the basilisk away from the lake and there was space of 400 metres between the two. The team had also adjusted to this by equally retreating at the same pace so their formation wasn't affected.
