Big Game Day
Big Game Day
'Jake constant breaths, Jake constant breaths.'
Jake told himself as he played with his shorts. He was currently dating his team, The Crocus Sabertooths, in what was sure to be the biggest game of the year. They were up against Jake's hometown team, Kronos. Needless to say, Jake was nervous, really nervous. Especially since most of your old friends are now your opponents.
"Isn't it great, Jake? Our last game of the season and then we leave for the championship!" Markus celebrated beside him. If Shiro Hotaro were to describe Markus Euclides, she would simply say 'Jake's little bitch'.
Markus looked at Jake with great admiration. "How about we all go get something to eat after that?" He asked.
Jake let out a fake laugh. "Haha yes."
Marlon, who was on the other side of Jake, looked at him questioningly. "Are you okay, Jake? Do you need to stay out of this?" He asked with concern evident in his voice.
Orga slapped Marlon on the back and laughed. "Lane is fine! Nothing can stop him." He said, Rufus shaking his head in agreement with the burly man.
"It's much better that he is! I didn't put you in the best condition just so you could let me down in my glory time!" Shiro, the team manager, looked at them. "Jake, you can breathe, but you have to be in this game! We need you, Mr. Star Player."
"Guys, man, really, I'm fine. Just a little nervous, since they are my old friends." He admitted.
"Old friends?" Markus asked in a crooked tone. "What do you mean?"
"Well, I'm from Kro-" He was interrupted by the announcer.
"Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! I give you, your home team, the Crocus Sabertooths!" The announcer boomed and the crowd went wild. Screams from hundreds of fans in the stands surrounded the team as they walked onto the field. But all the noise and noise was cut off when Jake looked the other way.
Old friends - no ... family. They were in the stands, clearly looking at him. Some with admiration and some with contempt. But still, Jake felt his eyes running over him. How could they not? It has been almost eight years since Jake was in Kronos, so of course he has changed.
He was prepared to go there to at least say something before a very familiar voice invaded his thoughts.
"Good luck out there, Jake." A sweet voice behind him spoke.
"Oh." Jake sighed. "Hey, Yoshoko, what's up?" He asked dryly.
The green-haired beauty laughed in her hand, almost everyone at Crocus High School treated her on a pedestal because her father was the principal. Almost everyone but Jake is that. He saw her as just another face in the crowd and that meant a lot to her. Of course, it was no secret to her small group of friends that she was in love with him.
"I hope you do well outside." She smiled at him, putting a lock of hair behind her ear.
Jake had the decency to blush while scratching the back of his neck. "Thank you, it means a lot coming from you."
Hisui closed his eyes when a blush washed over his smooth features. "If you win, I will definitely ask Dad for a celebration banquet in honor of your team." She said.
Merely shaking his head in response, Jake tried his best to pay attention to what the girl was saying to him. But, unfortunately, he had a lot to think about just one thing. "Yes, yes, it looks great Yoshoko." He said before he left.
Hisui was completely surprised by his total indifference to their 'conversation' and pouted when he just shook her like that. "Umm bye?" She waved her fleeting form.
Jake was normally not a rude person, but he didn't mind things as trivial as Hisui's flirting because, after all, he was out of the market. In fact, that was what he was going to see. It didn't take him a second to recognize his presence in the crowd and he needed to find her immediately, maybe his presence could calm the furious storm of emotions inside him.
The flower of his world was sitting in the front row of the stands with his friends that he didn't really know, but with whom he got along anyway. Jake maneuvered past some of the team's coaches and managers before finally reaching his destination.
"Hey, lady." He gave her a charming smile as he approached and leaned on the parapet that separated the field from the stands.
"Hello Baby." Sakura Kovidsh smiled softly as she stood up and gently hugged her boyfriend. Jake was always impressed by Sakura's special ability to make anything look great. Seriously, she was wearing only sweatpants and a sweatshirt, from which her big breasts were almost coming out, and he was already struggling with an erection!
Sakura's friends, along with the other children in the crowd, 'ooh' when they saw the couple making contact.
Jake let a happy smile cross his face when his incredible fragrance filled his senses and he could feel his heartbeat steady as he held her in his arms. "I've been thinking about you." He whispered in his ear.
The girl with dark purple hair laughed melodically when she heard him. "And me, you. Last night was just incredible, wasn't it?" She asked him.
"The best of all." The pink-haired football star nodded before leaning over to kiss his soft lips gently.
Once again the crowd applauded the famous school couple, while on the other side of the team's pitch, some were shocked to say the least.
Astra, Stella, Kristyn, Lia and Rebecca's jaws were hanging from the display of affection that a long-lost childhood friend was showing. So did Freddie and Philips from their places in the field.
"Santa-" Rebecca started.
"-Shit." Kristyn finished.
"Jake has a girlfriend !?" The girls screamed.
Astra was absolutely amazed. "Wow..."
Lia was in shock. "Wow is right ..."
Stella was confused. "I can't believe Sakura didn't tell me that she was dating Jake!" She steamed with rage.
Rebecca, who surprisingly regained her bearings, put her hand on the redhead's shoulder. "Calm down a little, Stella. Jake left a long time ago, of course he would become a young man and start a relationship that happened to his luckiest half-sister, who probably kept it secret at his request." Rebecca mysteriously replied wisely. Stella gave Rebecca a 'wtf' look at her vivid description that the brunette just shrugged. "Either you know, she was embarrassed or scared, that her older sister's old childhood crush was destroying her cunt daily." Rebecca went straight, which earned her a slap from the now furious redhead.
In the field with Philips and Freddie, the two young men were unable to keep their jaws up. They couldn't get a word together to describe the feeling they had knowing that Jake was winning.
Back with Jake
Jake and Sakura moved away from each other with a strong blush on their faces. It didn't help that the crowd hadn't stopped courting yet. Sakura's friends, mainly Millia, Risely, Beth and Araña, are offering the deal to their best mutual friend. Jake's team just stayed behind and nodded in approval as he gave Sakura the attention he taught each of them to give his special lady.
"You know ..." Jake started. "Hisui was talking about a dance if we win and uh, I'm going to need a date." He said before giving her a charming smile.
Sakura laughed as she tightened her grip on the banister and leaned back, not knowingly pushing her generous bust. "She said if you win." She pointed provocatively.
Jake leaned forward until his nose touched hers. "Isn't it always like this?" He smiled shamelessly.
"I'll consider ..." She sighed.
"Is that a yes?" He pressed.
"Perhaps." She replied.
"So yes?" He pressed even harder.
"You're not going to leave me alone until I give you an answer, right?" She asked and Jake nodded. "Sure, you big idiot, who else was I going to take?" Sakura laughed.
Then Ichigo, the distinguished gym teacher at the school, appeared out of nowhere. "I'm right here, baby." He smiled.
"Not now!" Several students in the crowd shouted at the short man.
Sakura and Jake laughed before looking back at each other. "It killed the mood, right?" Jake asked.
"Oh yes, definitely." Sakura laughed before pushing lightly on his chest. "Now stop bothering me and get out of there." She blushed and pretended to be annoyed, although her heart was dying for him to stay a little longer.
"Okay, okay. Let's go buy a strapless dress then, okay?" He asked.
Sakura snorted because he knew exactly what she was thinking. "Just go!" She barked.
Jake laughed at his embarrassed blush before giving him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Goodbye!" He jumped up and waved at her.
Sakura lowered her head with her hair shading her eyes as she tried to hide the steamy blush while Millia teased her provocatively. Believe it or not, this was normal for them.
Shaking hands behind his head, Jake joined his team members and was surprised when he saw that they still had a few minutes before the game officially started. Overall, he was better. More relaxed and calm. But, as fate wanted, someone was there to turn his stomach over again.
Markus laughed as he put his hand on Jake's back. "I see you are already making plans for tonight, Jake! You are so romantic!" The blonde laughed.
Jake smiled and gave the guys a thumbs up. "There have to be priorities!"
"Ha ha! You are always right. But before we can party and celebrate, we have to defeat these fairies!" Markus applauded.
Rufus, Orga, Marlon and the rest of the team members agreed. "Yes, which should be easy enough!" A random guy applauded.
"Hell, yes! We are the best!"
"Fairies are weak anyway!"
"Let's kill those idiots!
"Woah! Wait, Bob, don't be violent!"
"We are going to kill those stupid fairies, so we are going to their mother's house and-"
"Bob! There are children here!"
Jake drowned out the voices when the sinking feeling in his heart returned. Suddenly, he didn't feel very comfortable in his uniform and a little dizzy. Deep down, he knew what he had to do to overcome that feeling, but he still wished there could be some other way. But, unfortunately, he couldn't think of any.
- Well, I think it's time to do what Daddy always taught me, face my fears. 'The pink-haired football star sighed.
"Hey guys, wait a minute. I'll go over there and say 'hi' to some old friends." Jake told his team. Markus was going to offer to go with him, but a courtesy hand on his shoulder to Jake stopped him. "No, this is something I have to do on my own." He said before going out into the field and crossing it boldly. Needless to say, he was very nervous, as literally everyone's eyes were on him as he crossed the rubric.
While he was wasting time with the Crocus team, Freddie and Philips had already migrated to their other friends. Great, all your old friends together in one place. What could go wrong?
"Well well well." Freddie shouted with a smile. "Look who's all grown up." He joked.
"H-Hey-yy ..." Jake cursed inwardly when he stammered, but somehow, by the will of a larger being, he managed to ease the thick tension.
"Hey, not that Lane." Astra laughed as she stood up and started to hug him. Jake wholeheartedly accepted the gesture of his dear old friend. His breath caught in his throat when he entered his warm embrace. Everything was so peaceful all of a sudden. Her heartbeat was normal and her breathing was no longer irregular. The two old friends hugged each other for what seemed like a long time before reluctantly letting go of the hug.
"I hope you haven't forgotten about me!" Lia pouted softly as she ran into his warm embrace.
"Never!" The pink-haired man smiled and held it for as long as Astra.
"Mmm, it looks like someone grew up cute." Rebecca joked when he walked away from Lia.
Jake blushed when everyone laughed, including Kristyn from everyone and she was a total bitch to him ... when people were around, at least ... she was a very confused person.
Rebecca created a tick mark on her forehead. "Ah, so Astra gets a hug, but I don't? Jake! I'm hurt!" She pretended to be hurt before he pulled her into a hug. "This is better ~" She melted into the embrace before quickly dealing with the feel of her ass, a pity that she couldn't see the furious purple-haired woman across the field screaming a bloody murder with her eyes.
"Okay, that's enough!" Jake quickly squirmed out of reach. "I happen to have a girlfriend, you know!" He screamed.
Stella, who was quietly enjoying the fact that her old friend was back, stood up. "Oh yeah!" She screamed angrily before punching him in the arm, hard enough to hurt, but not hard enough to hinder his performance in the game. "When were you going to tell me you were dating my little sister!" The redhead smoked.
"Oh yes, I saw you hugging that cuteness over there ..." Freddie laughed as he elbowed a smiling Philips.
"Ha ha! Dating is super manly!" The white-haired giant laughed.
"Haaa! As if you know what it's like to date!" Kristyn gave a poisonous laugh, effectively reducing her brother's self-esteem to zero. Only a few brave people laughed at Philips's misfortune, especially Freddie and Rebecca.
"Well, you see Stella ..." Jake laughed nervously as he scratched the back of his neck. "She kind of ... * mumbles incoherently * you know ..."
"What?" Stella asked as she crossed her arms over her abundant chest.
"She kind of ... wanted to keep it a secret because you wouldn't approve ..." The pink-haired young man sighed deeply as he prepared for the inevitable blow.
After a few seconds of nothing, Jake nervously opened his eyes and saw a very puzzled view: Stella Kovidsh was holding a tissue against her eye and was curled up in the corner of the stands. "I see ... I failed as an older sister!" She moaned in his arms.
Quickly Lia and Astra flew to console, Rebecca just went to have a few girls to talk to and Kristyn, well, Kristyn just wanted to make fun of her rival for being a failure to her stepsister.
Jake laughed at the scene, as he really missed his dear friends, he was a fool to leave them in a fruitless effort to make his name on the football field. What good would a dream job do if your best friends couldn't try it on you? Sure Jake had grown up to look at Markus and Marlon as his own brothers (why fuck Gabriel), but he still missed his rivalry with Freddie, Lia's endless jokes, the absolute strangeness of Astra and Rebecca and Stella's strong demand. He missed his own roots. The things that did Jake, well ... Jake.
Before he could mention anything else, he received a rough punch to Freddie's arm. "Ah, it looks like the pinky reflexes have diminished." He joked and made a move for Jake to come to him.
The young man with the pink hair smirked. "That was just a cheap shot, you dandy stripper! It's time for some real action!" Jake prepared to attack, but was stopped by Astra's small hand on his chest.
"Nuh uh uh, sir! You will not fight right before the game! You will both be disqualified!" The blonde gave a lecture before smiling softly at Jake. "Also, if you really want to catch up, let's have lunch in the city before taking a look. We could use an expert tour guide ..." She said warmly.
Jake returned her innocent smile with his. "I would love to." He said before looking at each of his old friends. "There's a nice place around the corner - good food, by the way - be there around one o'clock." He smiled.
"Woo! Old meetings with friends at a decent restaurant for a decent price after a heated football game are so manly!" Philips shouted.
"Ugg! People are looking at me! You are so embarrassing!" Kristyn screamed as she hit him on the head. "Why are you so boring !?"
"I do it for sexual emotion! Sexual emotion!" Philips shouted as he flexed his huge arms.
Jake laughed to himself before turning to make his way back to his team. "It's great to see you, really." He smiled. Rebecca, Stella, Freddie, Lia, Astra, Philips and, hell, even Kristyn returned the smile. "See you as soon as I kick your team's ass." He smiled before running away.
While he was running away, Lia let a single tear fall down her smooth face. "He's really amazing, isn't he?" She blushed.
"Yes." Freddie smiled. "Jake has finally grown up."
Astra crossed his shoulders and blushed too. "I can't believe we let you go." She sighed before Stella got up and put a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry, Astra, he's happy here. After all, I heard that he's on the checklist of many professional teams as soon as he leaves college." Stella assured her, although she couldn't hide the sadness in her voice.
"Well ..." Rebecca sighed. "There goes a hell of a dick." She smiled.
"Rebecca!" The entire group of teenagers shouted.
While Kronos' former poster group had its small meeting, a lesser-known trio was at the other end of the bleachers. Specifically, a young man with blue hair, his colleague with black hair and his younger sister.
"Do you know what a real sport is?" Joselito Eduardo Fernandes started.
Freddie's half sister Malu Mercury sighed heavily as she pinched the tip of her nose. "Don't even start Joselito ..." She snarled.
Joselito, who obviously had a death wish, continued. "Ultimate Frisbee."
"Ugh!" Malu and Nemo, his half sister and also Freddie's, sighed simultaneously.
"See, on the last frisbee, we don't care about the spotlight and the glamor. We practice our sport simply for the pleasure of doing it. We work day after day to play what we love and all these soccer idiots are being broadcast around the world. world just to kick in. On the final frisbee, we run, jump, play, catch and more. "The blue-haired teenager informed.
"Oh boo hoo, cry me a river and play the smallest violin in the world, will you?" Antagonized malu. "Why do I still go out with you? Everything you do is yes, what's wrong, Nemo?" She asked suddenly when she noticed her sister's unusual look. Not getting a response as quickly as he would like, Malu pushed his finger lightly on Nemo's arm.
"...." Nemo didn't speak, but kept his gaze intense as a single drop of sweat ran down his face.
Joselito looked worried, so he waved his hand in front of her face. "Hey, Nem-Nemo?"
Finally Nemo opened his lips, but very slowly, his tongue circled the inside of his visibly dry lips. "HHH ..."
"What did you say?" Malu approached.
"HHH-Yummy!" She finally exclaimed while her body was completely confused. The fifteen-year-old girl with pink hair was unable to contain her deep blush as it spread across her beautiful face.
Malu and Joselito were taken back by the sudden and inappropriate explosion.
"What's his name !? I must know!" Nemo shouted as he pointed to Jake's withdrawal form as he returned to his team.
Joselito and Malu narrowed their eyes behind Jake's head, trying to get something together. But luckily for Nemo, Malu could remember his friend from eight years ago.
"Hmm ... I think it's Jake ..." She whispered to Nemo.
Nemo smiled exuberantly as his blush took on a more passionate tone. "So ... Jake ... this is where he has been all this time ... and thinking that he would be my destiny ..." She sighed warmly.
"A destined one?" Malu snorted. "Pffh, he probably just remembers you from that time when you almost drowned in his pool!" The older dark-haired child Mercury laughed.
"Or the time you spilled those special paints on his shirt." Joselito smiled, provoking Nemo to always be a good thing to pass the time.
However, upon receiving the tortuous provocation, Nemo's blush spread with shame once again. "DD-Do you really think he remembers all that?" Nemo sniffed.
"Oh, dear ~" Malu wraps his arms around his sister with love. "I don't think he remembers you!" She poked the pink in the nose.
That was when Nemo started crying like a crying little girl ...
After the game
It was a tough game.
"We totally cleared the field with your asses!" Otto shouted with his fist raised.
Okay, I lied, it wasn't. It was a brutal beating. It was a bloody massacre.
Jake, although determined to at least give his friends a chance, accidentally mocked them. He tried to relax, but it looked like he was just playing with them. He felt bad about it, but the man made the way Freddie's face looked when he crossed it looked almost euphoric. But of course, that feeling could never match a certain feeling he had when he and Sakura were alone in their dorm ...
But now the team ran to the locker rooms in victory, they simply won the game and guaranteed that a fancy banquet would be held in their honor.
"I'm asking so much for that girl who spilled coffee on my leg three weeks ago!" Markus shouted happily as he tore off his shirt.
Orga gave a loud laugh. "I'm inviting the girl who is sitting behind me in Spanish!"
"Do you think Mrs. Eveert and I have a chance?" Marlon asked Markus who was now in his boxer.
Markus stopped what he was doing. Facing Marlon. And slapped him. "Dude, she's 41 and married, you have to let her go!"
Rufus nodded as he undid his boots. "Never give up on love, Marlon." The blonde said wisely.
Their whole conversation slowly subsided when Jake closed his closet and zipped up his football bag before running out of the room.
"Woah Jake, what's the rush, man?" Markus smiled as he looked at his friend / mentor.
Jake blinked like an owl before turning his head. "Out." He said before turning to run.
"Hey! We should go out to eat! Where are you going !?" Markus shouted as he prepared to chase him, but a hand on his shoulder, courtesy of newcomer Shiro, stopped him.
"Not so fast, sir!" She snarled. "After that maneuver you did, you are going crazy!" The beautiful brunette took the belt from her father that she had brought.
"Oh shit ..." Markus frowned.
With Jake
'I'm going to meet my friends! La la la ~ 'The pink-haired teenager sang in his head as he walked out of the locker room and into the field. However, he totally forgot his promise to a certain person, so imagine his surprise when he left and saw his girlfriend standing there looking all cute and innocent.
"Ready to go, baby?" She asked in a tone she would never use in public.
Jake froze. He had completely forgotten that he was making plans with Sakura. 'Fuck ...'
Sakura tilted her head to the side in a cute way. "What is wrong?" She questioned him.
"Uh ..." Jake sighed. He knew he shouldn't have made plans with anyone and immediately go behind his back and make plans with someone else, but he was so involved with the enthusiasm of being in the company of his old friends. "Umm ... I actually made other plans, honey ... I'm sorry! I can cancel this just-"
Sakura smiled sadly as she placed a finger on his lips. "Shhhh ... Alright ..." She sighed. "I should know better than to take your word for it ..." Sakura frowned.
Like a fucking idiot, all Jake heard was "it's okay." "Really? Thank you Sakura! Man, I owe you!" He laughed cheerfully, mocking her without knowing.
The busty beauty clenched her fists in anger. "Very well then! Go! I think I'll see if Millia hasn't gone out with anyone!" She screamed before jumping out of the small stadium.
Being as ignorant as Jake, he just stayed there. "Wow, what's wrong with her?" He shrugged his shoulders.
Now Jake could be smart at times, but in all honesty, he was still new to the romance game. He didn't quite understand the fact that girls had feelings. So when he saw his girlfriend get mad at him for being stupid, he didn't see what he did wrong.
"Shit, I'm going to be late!" He shouted before grabbing his bag and running.
