'Even though I'm curious about the things that changed everything, four thousand years ago, I can't focus now on that. My focus should be on carving my name in Celtic and earning money. And also the most top priority the harem that I'm gonna build.'
Robin thought about his aspirations, but when he turned and looked at Jasper who was sitting on his shoulder and giggling to himself while looking at a tiny laptop that materialized before him. Robin felt like a stone dropped into his passion.
Sensing that Robin was looking at him, Jasper looked up Robin with a childish smile.
'Why where you laughing so much'
asked Robin.
'Oh that. You don't need to know, that is about the things that happen in the Upper Plane.'
'So you won't say anything about the Upper Plane to me'
'Master it's not that I'm not saying anything, its because they are too much for you to handle. You will feel tremendous pressure weighing on you if you know about those things. I will handle everything for you, don't you worry. I'm a next-gen AI spirit'
Hearing that Robin got vexed,
'Will I be able to attain my ambitions with an assistant like him'
With no hope, he changed the topic,
'How can I get a second identity for myself'
'What type of identity you want to create master'
'I want to create a second ID for my hidden identity as an Assassin. Show me the way to the black market. Let me buy a secondary bracelet.'
Even though it is mandated to have only one identity for a person, there is always an individual that thinks out of the box. And one such individual has found a way to create a second identity.
Even if it is said to be an illegal act, lots of people have an alternate identity in Celtic. Even a powerful person utilizes a fake identity to finish some of their works as an alias. So in the black market secondary identity bracelets can be found, but they are pretty much costlier one.
'Why you need a black market when you have a talented, cool, and smart next-gen AI spirit like me, Master. I can create any identity for you easily. I just have to create a second ID, it's easy-peasy for a next-gen AI spirit like me.'
Robin was baffled that the person who he thought to be futile, is useful,
'Can you really create an identity that easily'
'Yes boss, I will create a second ID and you can use that to create Assassin identity, in the Assassin Guild.'
'Okay create a new one.'
'I will finish it in ten minutes, Master.'
While nodding to Jasper, before who a tiny laptop appeared again in the form of projection, Robin thought to himself,
'At last, you are beneficial, you are not a totally hopeless assistant.'
After typing something continuously for about ten minutes in that tiny holographic laptop, Jasper said,
'It's finished, Master. Here I will send it to you'
Upon Jasper finished saying that a screen popped up on Robin's bracelet just like the one appeared before which showed his Primary Identity details,
[ Name: ______________
Age: 15
Level: Apprentice Assassin - low level
Occupation: none
Guild: none
Additional information still to unlock. ]
Seeing this Robin typed a name, for his alternate identity.
[ Name: HOOD
Age: 15
Level: Apprentice Assassin - low level
Occupation: none
Guild: none
Additional information still to unlock. ]
'Wow, Master a codename. It's just like a fantasy novel.'
Said Jasper as he flew from Robin's shoulder and is now floating before the holographic screen.
'What fantasy novel.'
'Nothing master, nothing at all.' saying that Jasper panicked.
Ignoring Jasper, Robin said as he stood up from the chair,
'So shall we go to the Assassin Guild and register this new identity. Show me the way to Assassin Guild in the City'
'I'm on it right away'
saying that Jasper float back to Robins's shoulder
'Oh yeah, before that find me a dress shop.'
___________
From an alleyway in Black Cloud City, a middle-aged man walked out wearing a white t-shirt and black pants. He had a black mustache and thick beard. This is none other than, Robin who changed his appearance in the dark alleyway.
'This is my first disguise.'
If someone saw from Eath looked at Robin's current appearance, they would shout, Wolverine. Yup, he took the appearance of Hugh Jackman from X-men.
'The streets are fully crowded'
Then he walked into a dress shop that was just twenty feet away from the alleyway. It was a normal shop. This was the shop selected by Jasper after calculating their financial circumstance.
The salesperson was a girl in her twenties. She has an average look but had a gentle smile on her face. Seeing the customer entering the shop, she came forward and welcomed him. But looking at Robin's handsome face, we'll actually Hugh Jackman's face, she was mesmerized. And started to explain the variations the shop had to offer, with an energetic smile on her face.
But Robin went forward and listed all the things he wants. That he had already prepared with Jaspers' help.
Warrior costume (blue and white)
Jacket
Gloves
Shirt
Pant
Boots
Cape
With a twin sword logo on the cape.
Assassin costume(black)
Jacket
Long hoodie
Gloves
Shirt
Pant
Boots
With a twin dagger logo on the hoodie.
Robin orders both of the outfits two sets that cost about four hundred gold coins. The reason for ordering the dresses in the same color is because its something Jasper said,
'It will become a trademark or a brand. If people see you they will remember this logo and whenever they see the logo they will remember you.'
After getting the dresses he ordered, Robin paid and left the store and disappeared again into the alleyway with a wide grin on his face. Because he got a 20% offer for the face of Hugh Jackman. So he paid 400 gold coins for the dresses that worth 500 gold coins.
'God's are gracing me'
He only had 589 gold coins left in his pocket. Adding the 10 gold coins he spent in the cafe and the 1 gold coin he gave the waiter of Rose inn.
Inside the alley, Robin transformed back into his original appearance and change his dress into his assassin costume. Then he hid his face with a black face mask, leveling only his eyes visible.
Robin walked out of the alley and pulled down his hoodie, covering him totally. He now had a twin dagger on his belt. It's the Limitless artifact.
He asked Jasper,
'Show the way to the assassin guild.'
A holographic map appeared before Robin, he was marked in a green mark and the destination was marked in the blue mark. After seeing the map, Robin disappeared from the alley entrance.
_______
By following the map, Robin now stood before the Assassin guild. The assassin guild was a dark big castle. It looked like a castle but not. There was no guard or anyone standing at the gate. Robin just pushed open the gate and walked into the guild. There he saw someone sitting in the table about two hundred feet away before the castle building. As it was a bit far away from him, Robin couldn't see the face of the man that sat behind the table clearly.
Then Robin started walking as he shouted to that person,
"Is this the place where you sign up for the Assassin guild?"
But there was no answer from that person. When he arrived near the table, Robin saw the person clearly.
It was an old man with white hair and a sunken face. The old man has dark skin and pointed ears. He was not human but a dark elf. He was currently closing his eyes and resting his head on his hands.
'Is he the person to whom I should sign up. Why is everywhere I go, I meet old people'
Robin stood there and looked at the dark elf and the Sign Up here board with a marvelous look.
'This is the first time I'm seeing a dark elf.'
Then he said to Jasper,
'Jasper take a picture of this dark elf.'
But his fascination was cut off as he heard an old hoarse voice,
"Do you want to die, little devil?"
