Elise look at her brother "I told you it's a bad idea to come here" she rolled her eyes "Ano ka ngayon?"
Adam pat her head "I just want to roam around, don't give me looks" he said and give her the bouquet he bought "It's yours"
"Don't kid me" she said and get the flowers "Wala ba itong kasamang pera? Baka naman?" she said as she inspects the flowers
"Are you running out of money? Are we in short of money?"
She looked at her brother and put her hands in her waist "Aren't you the one who told our mom and dad to limit my card?" she said in disbelief "Ikaw ang may kasalanan"
"Elyse, a hundred thousand for a month is more than enough you are just wasting too much money," he said at nauna nang umalis ng flower shop, looking back to her sister "Are you hungry? Want to eat?"
Elyse snorted "I'm not hungry. Let's go home" she said and walked passing by Adam "But I'm hungry" she heard her brother said, turning her head to her brother Adam was already walking away from her. "Kuya!" she said in annoyance
Adam gazed at her sister "What? You can go home, feel free" he said at tumalikod na ito
"How could I go home when you are not coming with me!" protesta ni Elyse at sinundan na si Adam "Napakatigas ng ulo may pagkain naman sa bahay, kakain pa sa labas eh. Tapos sasabihan ako na magtipid?" she mumbled
"Viana Elyse I'm not deaf" her brother warned as he walked inside the restaurant, passing by Aliyah's table, he sat down.
Elyse just shook her head, "Aliyah!" she greeted Aliyah who is about to take a bite of her steak.
Hearing her best friend's voice, she looks up "Ah hello Elyse what are you doing here?"
"I was quite hungry that I drag my brother here," she said and pointing at Adam who's sitting behind their table
Aliyah looked at Gio who stopped eating "Ahh" she just nods at her best friend "Eat well" she said and smiled at her while pushing her to go already on her table
Before she goes to their table, Elyse lower her head "Hello kabit!" she said and waved in front of his face "Sungit naman" she added before she walked away
Aliyah was so embarrassed on what Elyse has done, lowering her head "Sorry" she whispered
Gio keeps glancing at Aliyah who has her head down, holding her hands that were placed in the table "Are you okay?" he asked
Aliyah looked at him and give him a little smile "Yup. I'm just a little full"
"Alright, I'll pay the bill," he said and asked the bill at the waiter, holding her hands softly "Would you like to wear my jersey tomorrow?"
Aliyah's absentmindedly looked at him, not understanding his words "Huh?"
"My jersey, would you want to wear it?" ulit ni Gio
"Why?" she eyed him "Is it necessary?"
"It's not" he smiled and looked at the waiter who just got in their table, handing their bill
Aliyah was about to get her wallet when Gio already stood up after paying the bill "It's on me" he said and help Aliyah to stand up
"Gio" tutol ni Aliyah, she hates when someone is paying for her bill
"Alright you'll pay for the next bill, huh?" agad na sabi ni Gio "Is that fair?" sabi nito at inakbayan na si Aliyah palabas ng restaurant.
Before they could get out of the restaurant a message popped up in the phone of Aliyah saying 'I'll be collecting your debt tomorrow, see you at the café at seven in the evening'
Entering the complex where Gio will be competing with, Aliyah sighed as she saw the crowd, she looked for the seat in her ticket. She checked her phone again, she's been texting Gio for awhile and there was no single response she got, 'I guess he's still conditioning his body and mind' she thought.
"Can you contact Gio?" CJ one of Gio's teammate approached her breathless "He's missing, malapit na magsimula"
"Wait," she said as she immediately contacts his number "He is not answering" she stood up "I'll try to find him"
Going to different places she could think of, she still cannot find Gio nor contact him. When she was about to give up, he answers her call, "Where the hell is you?!"
Not saying anything Gio just wants to hear her voice, looking at the view he sighed.
"Gio tell me please, I'll come to you," she said pleasing him as she felt that something wrong with him.
"I'm just getting fresh air" sagot na matamlay ni Gio
After some time Gio told where he is, rushing to the place Aliyah ready her smile to comfort Gio on whatever he is going through "Hey" she called him giving him a sweet smile that he always asked her to do.
Gio just look at Aliyah who's wearing his jersey, it was indeed big at her, he looked down and smiled 'Maybe later' he thought
"What is it?" lapit ni Aliyah kay Gio
"Nothing" iling nito at tumayo na "Let's go. May competition pa ako"
Aliyah looked at him in disbelief at hinawakan ang braso nito "What are you saying? You are not okay"
"I'm okay now," he said patting her head "I'll tell you later. I need to compete first" he said at nauna na maglakad pero lumingon ulit ito sa kanya "You look good in my jersey"
"Sira" sabi ni Aliyah at sumunod na kay Gio
Gio was doing so badly at the competition, "Are you okay?" approach ni Aliyah kay Gio after the competition, handing him water.
Gio just looked at the water and move his eyes to Aliyah's face "Let's break up, Aliyah"
"What are you talking about?" her hands went numb, but she grabs his arms "Did I hear it right?"
"You heard it right, let's part ways," Gio said pushing her hand and walks away
Aliyah don't know what to do so she just stands there for several minutes when Elyse approached her "Kanina ka pang nakatayo dyan? Why Gio leave you here? Himala ha. Nag-away ba kayo?" tanong ni Elyse and letting Aliyah seat at the bench
Aliyah who still absentminded stare at her best friend "Did I just get dumped?" she asked her
"What are you talking about?" Elyse eyed her confusedly "Did he broke up with you?!" she questioned she was ready to go to Gio when Aliyah grabs her hand and shook her head. "Hindi? Eh anong dump?"
"No, I was telling you to don't cause a scene," Aliyah said "Maybe he was just stress kaya niya nabanggit ang break up"
"What the? Ganon ba lang kagaan ang word na break up?" Elyse said in disbelief "That was not a good reason Aliyah stop being bobo ha" she scolds her holding her hands looking straight into her eyes "If ganon lang niya kadali sabihin ang break up whenever he is stressed he is not treasuring you enough"
"Elyse maybe" Aliyah's started to get blurred as the word break-up start to sink in her brain
Elyse hugs her best friend "Shh. Would you like to stay overnight at my house?" Aliyah just nods her head, she needs a distraction.
